    10 years later...

    If anyone reads this section, is there any way at all to make these hairs colorable? They'd be great for the lore Nibenean mod I want to make.

    I downloaded this because the hairs look great. The only problem is that I too seem to get splotches of different colors on the hair, even after checking fixed color in the CS. I tried to make the hair colorable, but it didn't work either. *sad face* For some reason I can continue to change the hair color, even though it's grayed out and locked. Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated, as I have big plans for these hairs!

    These hairstyles are very pretty but if you would consider making them recolourable it would be even better.

    These hairs encourage me to actually take the plunge into the cs!

    I dont really know what to tell you, I dont experience these problems on my pc, I'll install these on my sons pc and see if I can duplicate the the problems your experiencing.

    If possible upload a couple of screenshots and post a link here please. That way if nothing else I can atleast see the problem your experiencing and plan out how to take that on.

    Also try out what Aurasoma is suggesting, the appearances will vary slighty from pc to pc. T

    The line you mention may very be a problem in alpha map now that I think of it. I will double check that today too.

    When you entered these hair styles into the CS did you remember to click the Fixed Color box? Not doing so can mess with the color of the extras that apper with the hair.
    Also try turning the hair color down to white or gray, the selector can some times affect a style that has the fixed color.

    Halofarm, once a mesh has been converted, its previous rigging no longer applies. Oblivion hair can be rigged, as can Sims hair. When ported, the hair needs a skin modifier added to it and needs to be weighted similar to the head and neck. This will stop 99% of the clipping issues encountered with all of the ported hair mods out there.

    Okay after implementing GSB01 to test, fixing the textures and tangent data, I'm still getting artifacts on the hair which is being caused by the .tri file. The hair flickers back and forth between a solid dark brown and brown and gray spots. It is actually behaving like it can't find it's textures, but it is showing them, so I removed both the .egm and .tri files, then placed them back in one at a time. It's definitely the .tri that's causing issues.

    Thank You everyone for your support and kind words, I was really sweating bullets for a while, worried that no one would like these. Glad to see I was wrong.

    @kedzojZ

    only 06 changes color the others are single color hair styles.

    this was mostly uploaded as a modders resource, and therefore I wil not be making changes to the dds files. If you upload your races esp file however I'll gladly add the hair styles for you.

    Just when I was getting board with the one Veeda is currently wearing, you come along. Currently shes wearing style GSB04, I call it a slight distraction.

    @fuzzybeastie: Of course it does, it's hair made for the Sims. Sims Hair is weighted, Oblivion hair is not. No amount of tweaking will fix it.
