I saw this mod and really wanted to try it out. Unfortunately, when I did, I found that the shirts do not appear to be visible. Instead, they make my character's torso vanish, and I have similar problems with the hoods. I intend to try this on my desktop when I get a chance, but I am wondering if I've missed something during my attempts so far to get it working on my laptop. I am very new to using mods, so any help would be appreciated.
I thought this looked really good, so I downloaded the file. Then, I got a virus warning from my anti-virus program. The suspected virus described is: Win32-EvoGen. The virus warning is for the exe file, not the other parts of the mod package.
Caveat Emptor!
I would recommend the mod author, if still active on the Nexus, to re-package this mod with no installer. It's a nice gesture to inexperienced modders, but few mods here have, or really need, an installer. Thanks for creating the mod, I'd like to try it!
UPDATE: Well, the Nexus' new (at the time of this writing) virus checking feature is giving this mod the green light. Perhaps I was getting a false positive? Odd, since the report says my program didn't find a problem... Time to try it again.
Hi guys, hey check this out my first post and its a help post..
So the .exe install file doesn't work because it creates a new "data" folder in your existing data folder so heres what you do
first open your data file and look for the file in data named data. (my path looked like this (D:\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\data) )
open the second data file in its own window, in that second file will be three things, a meshes folder a textures folder and Ranger Equipment Set.esp.
so copy or cut Ranger Equipment Set.esp and paste it in to your actual oblivion data file
next open the meshes in the second data folder and copy or cut the revoith folder and then go back to your oblivion data file and find your meshes file and open it and paste the revoith file in to that folder (again my path (D:\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\Meshes)) ... all most there
lastly go back to the second data folder and open the textures file then the icons file, in there is another folder called revoith copy or cut it, then go to your actual oblivion data file and find the textures file, in the textures file find the menus file then click the icons file. Now paste the revolth file you just copyed to the icons file and you are done (heres my path for that (D:\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\Textures\Menus\Icons)
If you did it right the .esp will show up in your data flies on your launcher.. if not well I donno what you did wrong perhaps try again?

Thanks.
If it's not there you have an installation problem.
