I've testet it right now, so if the "iMinGrassSize" is set to 120 the grass types with a "Position Range" of 65.0000 are already completely disappeared after ~45 regenerations. This is still better than without this fix, but a much better idea is to leave the "iMinGrassSize" at its default of 80 and make an extra plugin where the "Position Range" of all grass types is further increased. As said in the description: "Grass types with a "Position Range" of 74.0000 and above seem never to disappear."
To gain a grass density that corresponds to an "iMinGrassSize" of 120 the "Position Range" of all grass types should be increased to at least ~95.0000 (estimated approximately: 65/80*120).
And for a grass density that corresponds to an "iMinGrassSize"of 100 the "Position Range" of all grass types should be increased to at least ~80.0000 (estimated approximately: 65/80*100).
If you want to have the best quality without any grass disappearance you can set the "Position Range" of all grass types to at least 74.0000. That would correspond to an "iMinGrassSize" of ~90 (estimated approximately: 80/65*74.0000).
When I use iMinGrassSize = 130, the grass is less dense, which save some fps but makes the grass disappears more often...
I followed your suggestion and increased the Position Range to 95.0000 and set the iMinGrassSize to 80, but the grass density is still the same, which doesn't help the performance...
I've been using this mod for a while now with no problems. It does as it describes with outstanding results. For instance, I planted a garden behind my Benirus Manor and put a stone path and the grass was back from this area over halfway from the wall to the house, but after installing this mod, the grass has overgrown my path and is almost to the house! It has my endorsement.
Edit: Actually, this is a brilliant correction to the vanilla game, I like it alot - Kudos for catching this ; )
There is no compatible with "short grass" http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2069 solution 1.for poeople use "iMinGrassSize" = 80 Editing "height range" in this mod and load after SG. 2. for this which have nonstandard "iMinGrassSize" the best will be editing SG "Position Range" and not use this plug at all.
"This sounds like a useful bugfix! If it proves to be stable and without conflicts, wouldn't it be a great idea to ask Arthmoor to integrate it into his Unofficial Oblivion Patch Supplementals? This would also save an esp slot!"

Any suggestion?

solution
1.for poeople use "iMinGrassSize" = 80
Editing "height range" in this mod and load after SG.
2. for this which have nonstandard "iMinGrassSize" the best will be editing SG "Position Range" and not use this plug at all.
What happens if that setting is changed? I like setting it to 120 to gain a few extra FPS.
If it proves to be stable and without conflicts, wouldn't it be a great idea to ask Arthmoor to integrate it into his Unofficial Oblivion Patch Supplementals?

But it needs iMinGrassSize=80 to works...

Just a suggestion for this good piece of work...
