NOTE THIS IS A BETA RELEASE! ----------------------------
A NIF preview generator written in Visual Studio 2010
Allows you to select which meshes to generate images for.
It will then: 1) Open each mesh in NIFSkope 2) Take a screengrab of a predefined preview area 3) Crop out the surrounding pixels 4) Save it as jpeg into the same folder
V0.03 Now featuring:
- Self Installer/Uninstaller - Predefinable preview area - Background colour taken from top left pixel of predefined preview area. - All settings saved to an ini file in the program directory - Right Click Context menu item, so you can generate a preview from Explorer - New "Modified" category added, this shows if a NIF has been amended after you have generated the preview, indicating you need to regenerate the preview.
Some possible issues :-
I have not tested Vista/Windows7 It is a little slow, but this gives you some time to adjust the preview (eg. zoom out on architecture!) before the screengrab is taken.
If anyone is interested in the source, it is provided as well.
Thanks to xyzman for the ini writing/reading functions.
