The 1.6 update of this has got to be the worst mod in existence. Is there a console command to make it stop being re-added whenever it is dropped, or is that all a part of your sick pleasure?

There is a better version of this, working more reliable for me, here: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16282 ("Drop Lit Torches OBSE")

Malevolent seemed to have caused this mod to not work for me. It was working before but when I installed Malevolent my character did not drop the torch. If I turn off Malevolent it does work so I know it is the cause. Any ideas on how to fix?

This is a decent mod and it is definitely beneficial for many, but the way it works hampered me.

Does it have to be a special torch? It would be better if one could have 20 disposable torches and sort of 'light a path', or start a bonfire <img class=">

In addition, the torches should be throwable.

I understand that in-game limitations probably make those two impossible, if so then fair-enough.

The torches did roll away too much, and I think that could be fixed though.

When the hotkey torch was on the ground, I could hold a regular torch, but it wasn't lit. In fact when the hotkey torch was dropped, it would soon magically re-equip in the inventory, but was still visible on the ground, unusable until picked up again. I fast travelled, the torch dropped in the imperial city, to somewhere else, the torch reappeared in the inventory, but it was not usable, I would have to go back to the imperial city and pick it up to regain any use of a torch

Again I don't know if that behaviour is by design or due to in-game limitations, so I thought I would give a detailed description just in case the author/s where unaware of this behaviour.

I'm having trouble with this mod myself. It works fine for me with vanilla, just-installed Oblivion but doesnt work with the UOP...

This is a must-have function. I hate dungeon crawls with no light. I assume the creator of this thing is long gone, but no one else crafted anything like it i think...

No way to get a drop-lit-torch function then, eh? Nuts.

I'm having the same problem as Silversourd.

This is installed as part of OOO 1.3 full on my comp. The hotkey works fine, but the torch doesn't drop. The hotkey alone makes life easier but I would love to have the torch drop. Any suggestions?

I am not running the unofficial patch.
