err... i like the whole "adding more units for more of a battle theme" ...but this mod seems to be broken. first, when i get int there, there is not a single anvil guard, but instead there are craploads of dremora of varying types... the look it awesome, but when everything is dead i tell the captain guy and he says we still need to kill stuff.... what's going on? someone else asked taht question and you completely ignored it, so i would very much so appreciate an answer.
help! i deleted the mod after not liking it [ reason is i restarted the game and it was too hard for me ,lvl 1 again] and its still there!!! also the enemies dont attack you, only if u attack them! plzz help
"they wouldnt need to leave a lot of troops if the city was already levelled.. that was their purpose in attacking.. to cripple the powerful city of kvatch.." - hekem
they attacked because of Martin Septim not to cripple a town that all it could possibly do was just add more people to slaughter or enslave down the road (plus Bethesda didn't want to add another city with a Fighter's Guild and Mage's Guild to add quests and items to).
and I got through Kvatch at level 5 and had only the guard in the Oblivion gate die because i accidentally killed him trying to hit a scamp with a spell.
You don't actually need guards from Anvil (though if this added an "Aid for Anvil" Sidequest then you could send like 5 or 6 and some from Skingrad which is actually closer than Anvil.)
Perhaps those guards were from a patrol that had saw a survivor fleeing, and came up to kvatch wondering what was happening and came to aid the survivors via a counter-attack into kvatch.
I agree with hekem (although it was fun) by the time you get to kvatch the battle is already over as I gathered. there is no need for any higher species to be there as the scamps (I Believe do not quote) are scavenging
they wouldnt need to leave a lot of troops if the city was already levelled.. that was their purpose in attacking.. to cripple the powerful city of kvatch.. also you arrive just as the attack has ended so i fail to see how anvil would be able to mobilize and come to the aid of kvatch so quickly as well as see it happening.. however this seems like a fun mod to add a nice battle to the game so i will at least give it a shot
I think that this mod is better than some mods ive seen and better than people here are making it out to be.
I simply enjoy killing things and watching big fights so this mod is ideal. I also believe it makes things slightly more realistic because the portals and siege engine would need guarding...
In reply to "slur1" You'd think they would leave lots of troops to kill any survivors (like the camp and chapel)
P.S. Another idea for a mod could be a great big hole blasted through the wall of Kvatch leading to a small courtyard full of daedra etc (something like that would be cool)

You probably could have gotten help here or in the forums, but we don't take kindly to personal attacks. -myrmaad

Since you have no idea how to behave in a civil manner, your time here is now at an end.
