I'm sorry for asking so late, but insha Allah my intention is simple and good. Any good heart out there please help me:
1. Would it be enough with just downlading and installing the "Genji Armor 2" file, or do i have to install both the 2 and 2.1 (patching) file in order to have run smoothly?
2. I am an amateur in modding, but i love pc game, i love Oblivion, and i have practiced Japanese budo for literaly decades. So please anybody kindly explain to me, after extracting the downloaded file, where should i put each file and folder? I downloaded and installed the 2.1 file 2 days ago, and when i tested the weapons after retrieving them from the coffin i got some sort of lightsabre looking dai katana and chain sword. Like the texturing didn't work, so to say. When i tried to put the do-maru body armour on my character, the that should be covered by the body armour rendered invisible (not invincible) instead. Then after trying putting on and off several times, my Oblivion game simply crashed. Please help my with detailed enough explanation, especially which file and folder should be placed in which folder in the Oblivion directory.
great looking armor, once i got the files in the right places. Where is the bow in the picture though? I got the arrows (and the old fish, very funny), but no bow. Is that in a separate mod somewhere? the chain saw sword is cool, but odd for a samurai, as is the riot shield. anyway, great work, thumbs up.
I asked the Author of this mod if I could have the Armor converted. But I have yet to get a reply... but I went ahead and did it anyway. Because this mod is too Amazing to let it rust here in Oblivion. So I hope the author can come to forgive me, here is a link to the mod where you can find the Genji Armor. Not everything has been uploaded. But most of it.
