For some reason, the head texture isn't named properly MoonshadowFace_(NotTattoo).dds it should be MoonshadowFace_(NoTattoo).dds without renaming the texture file I get a black face bug.
Everytime you crouch you hear a lightning sound, gets old really quick. Also makes you half invisible and gives you a ton of small buffs and a debuff that is bigger than any of the buffs.
I just wanted to pose a cute elf around, what's up with these stupid gameplay additions? lol
MY MoonShadow Elf it doesn't gain level progress and even on LVadv it's stuck on level 1(loaded after RL by BOSS' defaults), been using Realistic Leveling and it works like a charm in my other default characters. Any ideas why it's happening?
Don't know if you are still having trouble with this since it has been a couple months, but I just want to suggest that you try loading ME before RL, just to see (if you haven't already). I also use BOSS and find it very helpful though I have had to make adjustments in my load order contrary to what it sets up for me, albeit infrequently.
Judging by some of your other comments here and there, it seems like you know what you are doing when it comes to installing and managing Oblivion mods, so there isn't anything else to suggest that you probably don't already know. I hope you were able to resolve your issue with this mod.
NMM - as has been posted countless times on these Nexus mods pages - is not recommended for Oblivion. Many Oblivion mods don't have the required folder structure that NMM requires (not the fault of those mods...NMM came out after the majority of them).
It is a good idea to have an alternative way to install files anyway. I vociferously recommend Wrye Bash...the bashed patch is a real game saver, and it is NOT hard to learn, it just looks that way. There are many tutorials out there - including a step-by-step guide with pictures - and I would be glad to help you get it set up. I have always installed files manually (also easy to learn), but to manage them I use Wrye Bash.
I haven't used OBMM as I am a rabid Wrye fan, but I have seen many comments vouching for its stability as a mod manager for Oblivion. And OMODs are made specifically for installation with it (unless you run the OMOD through OBMM, decompile it and repackage it for another manager, but why go to all the trouble?). Commenting on an OMODs page just to complain that it isn't for NMM is...well...kind of lame.
Finally, if you insist on using NMM (ill-advised for a reason) that's up to you, but there is no reason you can't also use OBMM specifically for files like this that come in OMOD format. There are many ways/tools to use to successfully install Oblivion mods, but NMM isn't one of them.
Hmm, odd, installs fine (seemingly), but doesn't show up in game. Plugins menu - both Vortex and Oblivion launcher's Data Files - shows no MoonshadowElves.esp or the like.
First of all, don't use NMM/Vortex, they mess up with things fairly easily. Use Wrye and OBMM ,for managing mods/batches/etc and BOSS and Tes4Edit on QuickClean mode for load order and cleaning up mods ( only those pointed out by boss or Wrye).
Hm... Every Time I Try To Add The Omod Packed File To Oblivion/Obmm/mod's And, i try to open Omod it will say" Error loading 'obmm/mods/MoonShadow Elves1_1 OMOD-31288 Access to the path 'C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Oblivion/Obmm/mods/Moonshadow Elves 1_1 OMOD-31288.omod' is Denied. Whats going on I'm so confused O__O
i download this and what i get in the file is no omod, just -config -data -data.crc -image -plugins -pluginc.crc -script whenever i add it to oblivion/obmm/mods the oblivion mod manager does not detect it. i need help please
I've posted this to forum as Mod Troubleshoot, will try to inform about the advances. So far it looks like it's a problem related to NEXUS rather than the mod, which I've seen this in another mod, where it was supposed to be a one piece .omod. DL was working before, which I've downloaded this mod countless times. Hopefully it'll be solved. For now, nothing to do.
Okay problem solved. Downloaded file isn't a .rar but actually an .omod. Thanks to the help of " DrakeTheDragon ", all you need to do is this, 1) Download the file 2) Rename the file's extension as .omod rather than .rar 3) Just add it as an .omod to OBMM
I did this .rar to .omod thing, but when I put the newly renamed omod in the obmm/mods folder the Oblivion Mod Manager would say something like 'Cannot find central directory', help!
I know its a little out of place here, but am I the only one who can't find Robert's Male Body here on the nexus? A few mods I've seen have a link, but I just get an error page from the nexus.
It is no longer on the nexus you would have to just copy and paste Robert's male body in google you should see it like I did. Hope it helps I'm trying to figure it out too.

Hopefully it'll help you as it did to me.
It helped a lot after messing around with this for hours.
