the mod works if everything except the .esp is dropped in the meshes folder. Imaginalex, that's no way to pack a mod.
I already tried a different version of the dragon slayer (available at planetelderscrolls) which was nicely done, at least it had decent stats, although the lighting on the model was all wrong.
This one's much worse! I don't know who was first, but this one's texture is horrible, plus it's too light (23), does way too much damage and breaks pretty easy for a massive slab of steel. I managed to kill just 7 imperial soldiers before it cracked.
Also, the mod spawns 2 of them, don't understand that either.
I know that no one has said anything on this post in 8 years but just wanted to inform anyone looking for the dragon slayer like I was biometal79's post right here is what fixed all the texture and missing information problems I did this and it works perfect I love this sword it is great. Kudos to the creator!
When i go to get it, its a huge yellow triangle with a blue ! in it... anyone know how to fix?... its the missing information box.. :'( really wanna kick some rear so..
hrm.. i been using this awhile and i love having the dragonslayer and all, but whenever i change from first person to 3rd person view or using a self spell instead of the sword returning to it's normal texture it goes mainly white and looks ridiculous.
anyone know how i can fix this? .. better yet.. i'd love to see the script that was on the original buster sword used on something like this.. the old script doesn't work on the newer OBSE mind you.
Tex works most of the time for me though sometimes appears all shiny which Gats' sword wouldnt will have to make a warrior to use this my assassin gets tired after 1 swing lol but works fine for me i want to see more Berserk stuff like the sword he used before that one smaller and more suited to fighting with

In my game, the sword didnt show up, instead there were 2 Fine Steel Claymores on the floor. One of them is right in front of the statue, where the Dragonslayer was supposed to be. And the other one is in the middle of the road just outisde the door of Edgar's Discount spell shop.
I'm a big fan of Berserk, and I really want to get my hands on this baby. But I've been trying to get this plugin to work and nothing works yet. Please help ! ">
Try downloading the mod again, it was re-uploaded Monday it seems.
Then, try putting everything in X:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\meshes
I was trying to put it in X:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\meshes\berserkersword , which deosn't work. Leave out the berserkersword sub folder folder and just put the nif right in thre meshes folder. Then, as evilest mentioned, throw the textures folder in the meshes folder also.
