No problem running it in a strong modern computer, no CTC, framerate was good.
I was using the unpacked resources
I suspect the former crashiness (Which I did have years ago on my previous computer) was a computer resources problem, maybe due to the textures of this mod.
Play note: I think I earned a loot more loot than that dungeon had to offer.
Got to the Fort entrance, and was able to fix the CTD on entering by shuffling the load order and unpacking the bsa file. After having killed all the ridiculous baby spiders, I went for the Mess Hall entrance. Again, the game CTD'd. Have no idea how to work around that one...trying to coc my way in there resulted in the same CTD. I'm uninstalling this game, it is not playable as is, and the author has left the building. Bad form, imho...if he isn't willing to support his game to make it playable, it should be removed from the archives. Trying to make it run was a complete waste of time.
I played until the storage basement of Fort Garrus and for the moment I love this mod but I faced a blood horror, an impish horror and a flesh beast and everytime the third of them was going to die the game made a CTD. After several crashes I finally disabled the imp and the flesh puma but when I met a kind of xivilai and another beast the game crashed again and I absolutely don't know what to do.
EDIT: If like me your game always crashes at this place of the storage basement even when you use the sneak just type this code "coc vmpfortgarrusstorage02" and you'll be teleported to the next room.
I just started playing the mod, and got the same problem with the bad meshes at the cave entrance that Cahouete had reported a while back. I used the COC command that you gave him, and it got me in. I will get back to you when I have finished playing the mod, but I just thought that I would give you the "heads up" on the meshes thing in case you are still working on improving this.
When I played this quest I thought to myself "It's DooM 3 with swords."
EDIT - Oh and by the way the mesh for the Disturbing Tentacles is missing, apart from that the mod works fine for me, no problems at all. Really fun, I think you should do more of these horror quests, because this one was very fun and very gripping to play. Good job!
I'll be trying the chameleon through the Fort Storage Area trick to see if I can bypass the crash that always occurs there.
So yeah,
1) Fix the crash in the Fort Storage Area. 2) Reduce the HP for some of the monsters. Flesh Titan and Flesh Golem are particularly high. 3) Reduce the damage done by Flesh Beast.
I was able to level up just by using a sword with how many hitpoints the monsters had.
My first reaction though was, "What the bloody hell?" in the most literal sense possible. The gory atmosphere is great and the new monsters look good. I like the green eyes covering the Flesh Beast. The sound atmosphere is cool, but I might still mute everything so I can play some gorey death metal, hahaha!
