Do you like your skeletons in more pieces? I know I do, that's why I created this simple modification. It adds a selection of Skeleton animation skeletons and a slighty modified mesh. What this does - it allows more bones to be detached from the skeleton when it dies. It's fun to watch when they blow up and also I think it adds realism. :D

Currently I was only able to make legs detach like arms or knees and elbows to be severed along with legs or wrists and ankles to be severed along with all previous. I wish I could make the ribcage, spine and pelvis break up but as far as I know that's not possible without messing up animations.

How to use...

There are three skeleton files and two mesh files. Note that the skelly mesh uses the dirty skeleton texture and the Darkbrotherhood cuirass is just modified so it won't stretch insanely(And I've noticed it even clips less with the pelvis than the original during animations).
If you only want your skeletons legs to detach while being connected at the knees and ankles(Which is the only one compatible with the dark brotherhood boots model) go to Meshes/Creatures/Skeleton and rename Skeletonlegs.nif to skeleton.nif.

Skeletonelbowsknees.nif will also sever the elbows and knees if you rename it and I guess you already know what to do with Skeletonhandsfeet.nif. Word of warning though - If you use these two, make sure you replace the animation skeletons in the creatures which use darkbrotherhoodboots model with Skeletonlegs.nif in the Construction Set. If you don't know how I advise you to stick with the Skeletonlegs.nif skeleton. Or write a comment on this matter. Peace.
