About this mod

Have you ever wanted to have your companions wear certain gear, without removing everything else from their equipment? Companion Force equip allows you to define a set of equipment that your companion will use whenever possible, until you reset or change it.

UPDATE:
Version 2.0 is out. It is based off OBSE beta 1.9, so consider 2.0 a beta until the stable version of OBSE is release. This version fixes some oddities with one of the scripts, and lets you see what items are being force-equipped whenever you cast one of the spells.

Details
=======
Companion Force Equip... lets you force your companions to equip what you want, regardless of what else they have in their inventory. After installing this mod, you will have two lesser powers added to your character.: 'Force Equip' and 'Force Equip Accessories'. Both cannot be active on the same companion at once, casting one spell will overwrite whatever equipment settings your companion had previously.

The 'Force Equip' lesser power, when cast on your companion, opens a container window. Move what you want your companion to wear from your inventory to the container. From this point on, your companion will try to use what you selected whenever possible. In addition, your companion will not wear anything else besides jewelry, allowing your companion to not wear a helmet, for example.

'Force Equip Accessories' does the same thing as Force Equip, but allows your companion to wear other things, provided they do not unequip what you gave them using 'Force Equip Accessories'. This is for companions you do not mind using whatever they want, save a certain piece of gear, or to make a companion equip something they may not normally will, like glasses.

To revert your companions to normal; allowing them to use whatever they want, just cast either lesser power on them, but close the container window without adding anything to it. Any gear you had them force equip will still be on them; to force equip using those items again, you will have to take the items back using whatever companion share method you use.

2. Delete nt_CompanionForceEquip.esp.

Incompatibility
===============
Any script that forces equipment onto a companion at the same time this mod forces equipment onto a companion will conflict. If this happens, try using 'Force Equip Accessories', and do not force equip any items that uses the same slot as any equipment another mod is trying to equip. If that doesn't work, just do not use force equip with that companion until the other mod stops force equipping items to that companion.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
You can cast the spells on anyone, and they will equip whatever you give them this way. You *could* use this mod to make npcs to force equip unfavorable items, but... that was not the reason for this mod.
