This little mod adds several spells from the Harry Potter books to the game. You can buy them at the Archmage's lobby from 'A Strange Merchant'.

All spells use normal vanilla effects, but if I ever feel like it and can find out how to do it (this is the first thing I ever did with the CS), I might add custom effects. There are probably some mods for this already, but I was bored. xD

How to install: copy the .esp to the Data folder of you Oblivion installation and enable it in the launcher/OBMM/wrye/whatever you use. The mod should not have any compatibility issues.


Spell name - effect in book - effect in game
Accio - Summons an object, a bit like telekinesis - Bound daedric claymore for 60 seconds (since there is another spell in HP which exactly IS telekinesis.)
Aguamenti - Makes water come out of your wand - Water Breathing (since 'water damage' does not exist.)
Alohomora - Opens a lock - Opens a hard lock
Avada Kedavra - Kills. Instantly. - Damages 500 health
Bombarda - Blows stuff up - Fire damage, 35 / 5
Bombarda Maxima - Blows bigger stuff up - Fire damage, 100 / 10
Confundo - Dumbs down people - Calm creatures
Crucio - Causes extreme pain - Damages 500 fatigue
Episkey - Heals small wounds - Restores 40 health
Expecto Patronum - Summons your patronum - Summons a bear (I know there is a patronus mod somewhere out there... Oh well.)
Expelliarmus - Disarms - Disintegrates weapon
Finite Incantem - Stops a spell - Absorb spell
Homenum Revello - Shows nearby people - Detect life
Impedimenta - Stops an attacker in his tracks - Paralyze 5 seconds
Imperio - Gives the caster command over someone - Command humanoid
Locomotor - Lets the caster move objects towards where his/her wand is pointing - Telekinesis
Lumos - Lights up a wand - Light
Petrificus Totalus - Paralyzes - Paralyze 60 seconds
Protego - Shields - Shield
Silencio - Silences - Silence
Wingardium Leviosa - Makes things levitate - Feathers
