Hi, my name is Andrew. I made my own mod for Oblivion. I did it mainly for myself and a buddy as a joke but I got a few requests to put it online so...

****HOW TO INSTALL****
________________________

Unzip this mod. This is probably already done.
Open up your Oblivion folder using "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer" or whatever you use.
Navigate to your Oblivion folder. This shouldn't be hard to do. Most people know how to do this already. The default install directory is : C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion
Go back to the folder you unzipped. Press Ctrl+A at the same time. Then press Ctrl+C.
Navigate back to the Oblivion install directory.
Press Ctrl+P. This will bring up a warning box that asks if you want to over write anything. Click on "Yes to all." (This doesn't overwrite anything, just adds stuff.)
Open up the Oblivion launch screen and make sure that you activate "Andrew's Mod."
Win.

****ABOUT THIS MOD****
________________________

So one night me and my buddy were completely wasted sitting on the couch and playing Oblivion for the 360. When he walked up to Frostcrag Spire I got an idea.
"Butt Crack Tower" I said aloud.

We lost it. He told me I should make it. I went home that night and started to work on it.

I added in a LOT of useful items from Morrowind such as the glass jinkblade and an actual WORKING copy of the Mantle of Woe. I also imported quite a few bottles of a nicer vintage of Sujamma.

All the kinds of armor (well almost all) are laid out on a table. This includes that special palace armor that is on the guards in the Imperial Capital.

I added in a few homebrewed magical items which unbalance game play from a little to infinite.

There is an altar of spellmaking and enchanting. Also included are a bed and a chest flagged as belonging to the "player" so you don't need to worry about an invisible NPC coming along and stealing your stuff.

There is a table which is fairly empty and has an "Alice in Wonderland" door on it.

UNFORTUNATELY I wasn't able to complete this mod. My videocard exploded.

Anyway... If I COULD complete this mod I was GOING to put a mini Oblivion Gate on the round table. One for every "random" Oblivion world. They would all have a switch attached to them that you would activate to reset the gate. Also I was going to put a calcinator like in Frostcrag but instead of a measly 50+ bonus to Alchemy I was going to put something crazy like 90 million... I didn't implement it. My script is still there if you want to mess around with it. It just needs to be put on an activator object. (I tried using a static.) I'm pretty sure my coding is foolproof but I don't know if it works. I also was going to add in the "Atronach Maker" like Frostcrag had but you would only need 1 salt of a kind to summon.

If you can't see the tower the whole way, just back up until you almost get the whole tower into view and jump.

****BUGS****
_____________

Yeah I figure there are bugs in this. Pretty much the main and only one that concerns me to the MAX is the "cover" for the entrance to the tower is too far into the rock. There is a rock poly (or two) sticking through.
I don't know, just think about it as someone who forgot to wipe.

I couldnt get the horse marker to work. I heard that no one can. I dont care... it was an unintentional goof that added to the mod. :)

On the OBLIVION-Wiki it states that it's bad form to use an object id beginning with "A" or "An"...

I also added in the "Boots of Blinding Speed" even though "Blindness" in Oblivion has the words "DO NOT USE" written in big caps on the spell effect. I used it JUST FOR THAT EXACT REASON.

The "Alice in Wonderland" door inside Butt Crack on the table is there on purpouse. Once I got the gates working I was going to move the door to the back wall to the left of the altars because that's a negative unused space.

I didn't add in NPC paths. This is a PC area only. There are so many dangerous items in here that the Adoring Fan would probably kill himself.
You can't bring in your NPC buddies and command them to chill inside the tower... sorry.
I don't know, maybe you can...

The telephone booth.

The door object for the inside of the tower is a door with no linking door attached to it. Don't get frusturated. Activate the other cover to leave.

I don't think I put the enchantment on the "Ring of Infinite Looting." The enchantment is already made I believe.

"The Ring of Infinite" isn't the ring's REAL name.

The Dagger of Super Cheating can attack for a very long ways off. It is not a good weapon to try to whip out in the middle of battle.

This is a generic cheat. You can use all or NONE of the items in this mod. For example, you need NO weapons or armor if you just wear "The Ring of Infinite." But wearing that ring all the time makes the game lousy. Likewise some items are super over powered and some aren't. Most are. You don't like it, don't use it, use something else. You can always pick up the leather armor and look like a fool if you want to.

Yes, this takes no time or money to activate. Sorry. :*(

****OTHER JUNK****
____________________

My name is Andrew Stoltzfus. I love modding computer games to make them preform in ways the original authors didn't intend. AKA hacking, modding and cheating at a game. It's a passtime that I believe is INCREDIBLY fun and I believe that game companies who look down on this practice of game modification only say that because they can't make good games.

If you want to contact me, you have a question or comment, just send me an email or something. I won't type my Email address right here. I figure if you *REALLY* want to get ahold of me, you will take the 10 minutes that it takes to find my email. (And NO I DON'T use Gmail, lol.)

If you want to see new, original items just tell me and I'll see what I can do. As of right now, I can't import models, everything I use is already in Oblivion. I can't get blender to export to NIF correctly because it sucks and I don't know how to use a decent NIF compactor. If I could, I would probably export NIF files from Morrowind, add Havoc data from an existing Oblivion model, add a few polys and update the texture. Like you know... for the Daedric Claymore that I know EVERYONE wants and not that bent-up-busted-up Oblivion one.
But I can't do that.

If you want me to help you on your mod, if you think I CAN help with your mod, just drop me a line. I'll probably be willing to help if I can.

Later.
