THANK GOD!!! (and I say that as an atheist lulz)

This mod is exactly what I needed! There IS a bug with too much going into the one storage container, and this is just what I needed for my tent chest (and perhaps for the Bank chest at some point too). It also just makes everything look cleaner too! BTW, that fact that you can click on the sack in your inventory and it auto-opens that storage (do you dont HAVE to drop it on the ground and interact with it) is the cherry on top! LOVE THIS MOD. I know, I know, I am gushing like I was paid to kiss some butt, but this really is the answer to my prayers!

Endorsed and voted (mod of the month)!!!!!!!!!!

Is there anyone following this thread that has technical knowledge about this mod?

Quite simply, the mod isn't working. I know I used to use this mod, I believe about a year ago and about ten years ago when I played Oblivion. I haven't played the game for a while though and installed it a few days ago and have been trying to get Storage Sacks to work, but for some reason it's not working. I initially just put the files for the mod in Oblivion's Data folder and then made sure the .esp was active in OBMM, but it wouldn't work. Now I've deleted those files from the Data folder and instead created an OMOD using OBMM. The mod still isn't working--no storage sacks in my inventory. I even typed "set DSSack.Init to 0" as well as "set DSSack.Init to 1," but I still have no storage sacks.

    A few notes:
I've tried this on a new game in the Imperial City prison, and also used a mod to skip the tutorial, but still couldn't get the storage sacks.
I'm using the Steam version of Oblivion, 1.2.0416
I have installed several mods, but the only ones I have active presently are the Unofficial Oblivion patch, Shivering Isles and its Unofficial Patch, and Knights of Nine
I'm using OBSE 0020--I had 0021 but kept getting a message about OBSE not being detected, so I finally uninstalled Oblivion and installed OBSE 0020 instead of 0021
    I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

Does anyone know what might be preventing this mod from working? I was going to go on and start installing other mods, but if I can't get such a simple mod working right . . .

I really like this mod and I have been using it for a while, but I have recently encountered a problem. Alot of the things I put in my bags (or even things that were in my bags, but that I removed into my inventory or another container) are disappearing.

Any ideas on what is causing this?

In vanilla oblivion when you put to much items in a container they can disappear. But they will never disappear permanently and will always eventually come back again when there are less items in the container. I guess this was what you were experiencing?

That glitch is actually when you put things that are repaired above 100% in a container they don't sometimes shown in the inventory screen. Usually taking something out or something in will help it reappear, but if there's lots of things in the container repaired beyond 100% it can be a pain. You can Take All and then they'll show in your player inventory.

I just don't put things in that are repaired above 100% and then there's no problem (and this is a problem with all containers, not just those from this mod).

The glitch that happens from too many items DOES exist - it's another glitch on top of the "above 100% durability" one. Surprised no mod or patch ever fixed either.

Minor bug I just found. If you stash the sacks in a container (or, presumably, if you just drop them somewhere) and subsequently increase the number of sacks available, you get a new copy of all of the sacks added to your inventory the next time you load a save after restarting Oblivion to pick up the changes. Not really a huge problem, and some people may actually find it convenient, since the copies all point to the same remote storage containers as the originals. It becomes more of a problem if you've intentionally stashed a very heavy sack in the Luggage and are suddenly very over-encumbered the next time you load up the game because that sack is now also in your inventory :-)

Been using this for a long time (along with http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/25436/? by the same author) including the sell sack without a hitch. Fantastic mod!

I've happily endorsed this great mod. What I basically wanted was multiple 'bags of holding' to help organize my character's inventory. This mod fits the bill perfectly.OBMM had no problem creating an omod and installing it. Your read me is very helpful for configuring the bags to taste (I renamed them to indicate their contents and in such a way to keep them happily all together in my inventory).Changing the weight multiplier was as easy as you indicate in the read me as well.

I'm not at all interested in the unique features of Sack 1 (the Sell Sack). So I'm simply not using that one at all. Hence, I can't comment on some of the concerns that have been reported with the Sell Sack.

Again, wonderful mod and thanks for making it!

I have given this file my endorsement.

    Very nice file!

I just have the small problem, that after renaming the sacks in the .ini (-> oblivion/data) nothing happens. I have the sacks in my inventory (so i guess the PI is working) but i cannot customize them. Any idea?
I guess it is somehow my fault, not the PI´s. So thanks for the nice mod.

Double check ini location, wrong setting in ini...worked for me.

This mod needs a toggle to not allow sacks in tutorial stages, to force you to buy them from a general store. It isn't realistic to have all these sacks on you coming out of jail (plus all the added weight for weaker characters, especially using TIE).

I also have Sell Sack crashes issues. Although I think if you dont touch the game for awhile after selling, or at least dont go into inventory, save, or open any Storage Sacks for about 30 seconds after selling, the crash can be avoided.

    Probably the script being frail.
