------------
Introduction
------------

I love The Luggage from COBL, and I sought a way to make it a little more accessible to my character who doesn't own a house and almost never visits towns.

This simple mod gives you a greater power that lets you summon The Luggage to your current location. I've tried to tone down the "uber-ness" by making the spell a greater power and making the Luggage vanish again after 2 game hours have passed. If you already think the pocket-dimension-bag-of-holding nature of the Luggage is already overpowered, this mod is definitely not for you.

Requirements

Cobl, also known as Common Oblivion. Link to the latest version, as well as all the docs, can be found here.
The Luggage was introduced in Cobl v1.20 I believe, so in theory there's no reason why it wouldn't work with that ancient version. I built the mod on v1.36 or so (yes, a long time ago). But nevertheless, get the latest version.

Oblivion Script Extender. Get the latest version here.

You MUST have both Cobl and OBSE for this mod to work.

Functions and Features
----------------------

When the mod is first loaded it checks to see if you've already activated The Luggage. If not, a messagebox pops up asking if you want to do so. Once the Luggage is activated (by messagebox or by seeking it out in the game and activating it) you will receive a greater power, appropriately named "Summon Luggage."

Casting the spell will cause the Luggage to appear in front of you, about 6 feet away. I suggest finding a clear, level spot to summon it. This is important: it is perfectly possible to summon it in such a way that you cannot access it, such as inside a wall or in a hillside. If you do so, oh well. You'll have to wait until tomorrow and try again. It's also possible to summon it with lots of clipping, or hovering in the air. Given the limitations of the game engine, it's not a problem I'm going to try to solve. Sufice to say that if you summon it in a dumb spot, there's a good chance it'll look dumb. :P

The Luggage will stay around for 2 game hours, so don't summon it before you head into a dungeon expecting it to be waiting for you when you come out loaded with loot.

Of course, the Luggage is rather fiesty and won't bother to show up if it's already nearby. In particular, you cannot summon it directly to your location if you are any location where the Cobl team has already placed an instance of the Luggage, such as in the Mages' or Fighters' Guildhalls, most inns, and wilderness campsites. If it fails to show up you'll get a message to that effect, so you should look around to see if it's already nearby. Sometimes you won't be able to find why it's not coming to you right away... you might need to sleep or something before it'll show up. Such is the nature of the beast.
