Ok first off this mod is fantastic and is great on certain characters. However lately i decided to turn the mod off in order to roleplay a character who would spend time in jail after committing a crime. But when i turned off the mod the game continued to act as if it was turned on. Even after making two new characters with the mod turned off i could not get arrested and no guard would walk up to me regardless of how high my bounty was. (Was originally using guard imposters full and now trying it with other versions.
Any help that can be provided will be greatly appreciated.
The only problem with 100% Deposition is that the guards never leave you alone, its like you get hit and the Guard says "Looks like you have some trouble, dont worry, ill take care of the fine." OVER AND OVER, Other than that, cool mod.
If you're using the No Bounty version, you can face the jailor, open the console, type in "player.setcrimegold [anything higher than 0]" and press enter. Then exit the console at hit the space bar as fast as you can. If you talk to him the moment you exit the console, you'll be able to get jailed.
For either version, once you get to the point where you need to get jailed, you can just type in the console "setstage MS09 35" and he should talk to you. If not just use "setstage MS09 40" instead.
If all else fails just disable the mod for a second so you can get jailed, then turn it back on ">
It shouldn't, unless there's a point in the quest it *requires* you to be jailed.
I'm pretty sure there isn't, but I could be wrong.
If you're using the Guard Impostors version they're not able to apprehend anyone or respond to crimes, so if it requires a guard to come to the aid of someone then that wouldn't work either I don't think...
I can't think of any situations where that happens, though.
The mods do not modify the value of stolen items, merely the bounty you get when you are detected stealing them (and on the Guard Impostors version, not even that).

I've been playing Oblivion for years, but have just now explored modding. This is a great mod, and works just like it says it does.
Endorsed!

That said, does the thieves guild questline still work?
