   The hands use the same part of the texture as the torso. I actually can't give him claws without adding claws to his chest or something. Kind of awkward looking...

      Could use vertex coloring, or a decal map and second UV slot.

   That's a nice retexture.
   
   Next I suggest defining the the claws a bit.
   Right now they look like fur-covered pointy fingers
