I do have a question though; it's a long shot considering how old this mod is but, how do you age the milk after you pasteurize it? I can't find the aging rack anywhere.
same, also using better cities don't see note type in console 'player.additem NKManorNote' then type 'SetStage NK001 10' this should start the quest for you
This mod is great for sure but the default blue bright all the time windows drive me crazy. Any way to make it compatible with all natural so at least you can see it's dark outside through the windows at night? I've been avoiding using this as my main house, which I certainly would love to do, because of this issue.
pardon me if my question could seem so naive, but it's important for me to have a feedback. Is there someone who manage to get 60 FPS when around the Shadowcrest Manor and when inside it's first interior cell (where the dinning hall is located)? I know it may be a stupid topic, however it's crucial for me, as I would like to know if mods like this are supposed to be played at lower frame rates or if there's an issue somewhere in my end.
Hello, it's not that mods SHOULD be played at low FPS. However, Oblivion engine is old. When you have a mod that adds many objects to the game, it will cause Oblivion engine to choke, hence low FPS. I played modOblivion with about 20 FPS in modded areas and the game was perfectly playable. And if you have stutters which is FAR worse than low FPS, you may use Oblivion Stutter Remover (OBSE required).
EDIT: and if you're interested in details: Oblivion engine, Gamebryo it's called I belive, relies heavily on CPU. Mostly on a single core (uses second core for some minor tasks). Many objects mean many drawcalls, it burdens CPU. The use of ATLAS textures for mods is therefore advisable, as they are one large texture instead of many small. This is a good example of such a mod, for VWD (distant objects): https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/50439? and this for groundcover: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/49346
thank you for your answer, you were very kind, and your information are important to me. I'm, in fact, a fan of Oblivion Stutter Remover, but I also use all other kinds of tweaks, from the 4Gb patch to a memory purger and ENBoost. My Oblivion is modded, but it's just to say that I've activated the unofficial patches, Vilja and a few other minor additions. My CPU has a 4.4GHz power per thread, and I see that, when FPS drop in Oblivion, the used thread is at its 100%, so they should be drawcalls.
However you never know... Without knowing the performances that other users get it's hard to understand if FPS drops are common or are just my bad in some wrong tweaking. Another ring bell was that this mod is old, and if I get low FPS with an i7 4790K I imagine performance would have been even worse at the time of this plugin's creation, and this weighted on my fears that I just had a problem on my end while, for its author, the mod always worked perfectly.
I get frame rate drops as well in Millstone Farm, in Mushroom Manor Modernized, Red Rose Manor, Akarina Cottage and so on... Most of the house mods make my stable 60 FPS output drop (not drammatically, I mean from v-synced 60 to somewhere between 45 ~ 59) so, again, I feared it was something bad on my end
But you confirm me that it should be fine, and I'm happy! As I was very concerned about some mistakes I may have done (or even hardware issues).

Total relocation is needed if smb would make a patch.
