0.54, 22 May 2009:
Tweak: Converted the tokens as being Light armour to Clothing.
Tweak: The INI file is now located in the Data\ini folder.

Description
===========
Any armour and weapon that are not equipped has encumbrance penalty.
The amount of extra encumbrance can be configured in the INI file.
The default is 2x the normal encumbrance of the object.

Items that are hot-keyed are, by default, not considered to be equipped.
So they also incur the penalty.
However, these items can be considered as being in pockets/straps (built into normal adventuring gear) for easy access.
So there is an option in the INI file that allows these items to be free of the encumbering penalty.

I recommend using this with the newer Encumbrance and Fatigue mods:
Abo's Realistic fatigue (I play with this) http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10925
or
Duke's exhaustion mod (i've not tested this mod with this) http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20945.

The encumbrance limit on these mods is 10 x Strength.
However, Fatigue (and attribute?) penalties are applied realistically in the full-range of that capacity.

I also recommend using Inventory is a backpack: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21721.
This allows the player to easily drop encumbering inventory during combat.

Details
=======
1. The encumberment of the items themselves are not modified.
2. An invisible token is added to the player's inventory.
And the weight of that token is modified to apply the penalty to the player.
This allows for easy deactivation of the mod.

Install
=======
1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary.
3. Copy files to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\
4. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the kuerteeEncumberingLootArmourAndWeapons.esp file.

Uninstall
=========
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the kuerteeEncumberingLootArmourAndWeapons.esp file(s).
2. Delete the .esp, .ini and .txt file(s) associated with the mod.

History
=======
0.53, 10 April 2009:
bug-fix: Prevents one of the control tokens appearing in the player's inventory.
0.52, 25 March 2009:
bug-fix: Encumbrance is triggered to update when the token weight changes.
This is required because the function SetWeight has a bug: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/SetWeight.
0.51, 10 February 2009:
The encumbering penalty gets recalculated when equipped items changes via a hot-key or a script.
Previously, it was calculated only when encumbrance changes or when the Inventory screen was closed.
0.5: 27 January 2009 - Initial release.
