    i still havent quite caugh ton, but i still dont think it does what i want it to

    i want something like those tent mods...
    where it's static and you can use it, but to pick it up you've gotta 'sneak' activate it so it can be used in the real world

    spong is right an esp can not reference another esp. The authors advice to check this esp along with the oblivion.esm and your house mod esp is incorrect. Most modders would recognize that. The author has redone this file and re-released it as "Static Alchemy Mod". This file should not still be available for download and should be removed from this site.

    I think it's a... modder's resource rather than mod for casual player. Aberwiin Manor uses this(as master file), and AranMathi uses revamped version of static alchemy script from this. Well, it's one of the mod that deserves good rating, I think.

    This mod adds the listed items to the construction set, all you need to do is open it up along with oblivion.esm, find your house, drop in the activator/s wherever you want, and save your plugin. Then all you have to do iss walk up to them ingame and activate them and your alchemy experiment is started.

    If I had directly placed these in player bought homes etc I would have added in a part of the script to store them in a chest. As this is just for modders to mess with, I decided to focus my efforts on my house mod which this was built for.

    I really like what you've done but there's a problem with this mod that I have experienced with other modder's resources - basically this needs to be an .esm rather than an .esp if people are going to be able to use it in their houses etc.

    as it is, if you place the items in your house then the next time you load the cs even with this .esp checked it will not be able to find the textures/meshes etc. and they will be removed

    apart from that this is great - good job

    I do not quite understand what this does or how it works... can you use it to set up a static Alchemy 'station' (say, in your house) rather than lugging your gear around with you? If so, that would be great! I tought the idea of carrying it around was daft. Ideally such a set up should also store all your ingrediants like a chest, so you can go out, harvest stuff and then come back and do the 'mad professor' thing when you get back home.
