Good mod but needs some user side craftworks. This mod makes me start using construction set (Using CS on Windows8.1 64bis os is very hard ... need Headset or Microphone always plugged, need click cancel not ok to save without crash etc... it's a long story..)
Anyway i managed to get solution to go through this quest line. Main problem in my PC is quest4 stage 11 -> 15 transistion. The NPC(untouched ...) who assigned to speak many thing wouldn't speak
I had a good time making solution with Construction Set. Many thanks for this Good Mod. Yes this mod contains fragility in sequence connection, it is worth to tackle with CS.
I realize this is an old mod, but I hope someone still checks up on it. My quest is stuck after killing Athelas. I spoke to him, killed him nd took his book, I read it but nothing happened. no update to the quest. The companion returned to the IC, but that was it. the green arrow points to Athelas' body, but there's nothign left on him. I have the odd journal and I have read it. how can I fix this?

I spoke with Phintias, got the book and the comment about Kemen. I looked 2 hours for the argonian but didnt found anyone there. Can you fix this problem please?

For those for who the dead Argonian does not appear (I can not figure out the problem, When I played this mod a few years ago, he was there, this time on a different game he was not and I could not even enable his reference with the console), the workaround is setstage rotaquest4 3 then you go to Umbacano's house, speck to him if he is alive, find his journal (on the coffee talbe where he would sit) if he is not.
sorry thumbs down this mod is buggy and the quests don't update correctly and i can't go through the ayleid passage the mod seems unfinished did not interest me i wasted my time no offence but this od needs fixed badly.
First I have to excuse me for my bad english. I have to thank you a million times for such a great work. I really love this Mod, but, after playing it for so long, I'm getting more and more bored. So here I have an idea for you. How about creating a Return of the Ayleids Episode 2 Mod, where you can join them and become at least Part of the Ayleid Kings and Ruler of your own City, like Nenalata, Lindai, Miscarcand just much bigger, bigger them the Imperial City itself. And if you can't any longer be part of that evil Plan of Reclaiming Tamriel you still can talk to Eredur and start the Final Part of destroying them once and for all. What about some new and Unique Ayleid Weapons, Armors, Clothes, Robes and other Stuff? Getting up in the Rancs of the Ayleids from the weak Spy and Traitor to the Empire to the new Ruler of the Ayleids. What about combining your Ayleid Mods with the Mods from other Users, for Example Ayleid Ruins Revamped, or Ayleid Extencions. I know that this is a loooot of work, but if you don't mind, than I would like to be one of your Testplayer, to tell you, whats perfect like its almost in your previous Mods, and what can be made a little bit better. By the way, what about creating some Female Ayleids too?
Just one Question for the End of Return of the Ayleids the final Quest: What do I have to do, after I killed all the Ayleids but the Quest won't be ended? What have I done wrong?
Ok, killed all the Reborn Aylieds except one, all the ones at and in ruins and hidden camp, and two of the three indeoendent Scouts, the one west of Leyawiin, and the one east of Bruma, but I can not find the 3rd one. Can anyone give a clue where the last one is wandering?
Ok, A Path Forgotten quest works either way, with Umbacano alive or dead. It splits when you check the dead Argonian with a IF check for Umbacano being dead.Either way you head for Umbacano Manor after evaluating the various clues pointing to him. If alive you talk to him to get stage 7, if dead you find his journal near where he sat upstairs for stage 6 instead.
