    tried using Roaming NPC's + NPC's Travel + this.
works fine but this is  too much. with this, Cyrodiil trails look like they are now roads of some medium-sized town. uninstalled in favour of the two other mods that I mentioned (they are also a bit newer and more balanced)

Errr before you try this be prepared for armies of travelers everywhere even using the 5% plugins for every road....had to uninstall i passed literally 40 npcs on my way from chorrol to IC lol.....very over the top and unimmersive, but i guess if you want a lot of marks for robbery this is for you! lol

I cannot endorse this file, unfortunately, as it is causing crashes to desktop (CTD) in my game. I have isolated the issue to this mod beyond a shadow of a doubt through hours of testing and one-at-a-time isolation of mods.

With this mod: 1 CTD per hour minimum, ALWAYS along roads and near travellers.

Without this mod: Zero CTD. Period. Yes this IS possible in Oblivion.

However, this mod my not necessarily be broken or have issues. It may well be that my rig cannot handle this many scripted NPC's in the world at once; it could be sound card limitations, as I do have only onboard sound (no special sound card.) That said I have 8GB RAM and a 1GB Nvidia GT220 graphics card. Oblivion barely even stutters on my rig in UL areas and that's with running TES4LODGen.

Probably this mod is simply too much for most normal rigs. The scripts running on every NPC in the world are almost certainly a performance drag. Coupled with the fact that, while all RACES are represented here, the player only ever sees either Travellers, Travelling Adventurers or suppliers, I simply cannot endorse. Great effort but it needs to be smoothed out a little more. Thanks for making the attempt.

I gave this file a thumbs down because the "Optional" plugins of 5% from 15% (which by the way, is waaaay higher than CR Revamped's 2% spawn chance) are all separate ESP files taking up space in my load order. Not only that, but the NPCs spawn WAAAAY TOO MUCH (And I'm using the optional 5% plugins).

Consolidate the ESP files into one configurable ESP with total spawn % control (such as a .ini file), and I will remove my negative endorsement of this mod.

This mod needs to be revisited again.
I was just walking down from Chorrol when I saw something in the grass I couldn't make out.

I went over to find a dead orc traveller just about 10 ft off the road with over 1k gold on them! That is just too much IMO. It is like that other "Crowded Roads Advanced" that gives way too much loot on people.

Librapoet have you considered disabling sound in the Ob ini?

"However, after using this for some time now I am finding travelers bunching up on roads in quiet groups, often holding torches in the daytime. It is immersion breaking. It might be a mod conflict, I'm not sure what the cause is."

It could perhaps be a mod conflict. Another possibility is AI overload, which I suspect because they are 1) quiet and 2) not removing their torches in daylight. If there are too many actors in one area, then the AI engine only handles up to the max number, the rest will of the actors will "zombie". The default max is 20. A good mod to increase this is Mass AI (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=815. Some overhaul mods (like MMM) will also also increase the default.

Parallaxblue, I do not know. I suspect that it will not, as long as UL does not modify the roads, since that is where all the spawn points are.

I'm sorry for the delay, but I am pretty much done with Oblivion and modding, so I haven't visited here in months. Maybe some day I'll come back to it, but for now, I'll probably only see y'all in the next TES game.
