Oblivion rough install guide
"First Light" with DassiD's OBGE Preset, Really AEVWD and tes4ll :)
In this vid I'm continuing my preparation for "First Light". I start with using the TES4LODGen which uses the RAEVWD info to fill in the distant landscape and after this I install the Landscape LOD generator tes4ll. I had already installed new Normal Map and Distant Land files for it to use and after some backups from 6:14 onwards I run tes4ll_ultimate - expecting it to take much longer I was AFK for a while :) - and from 9:30 onwards tes4ll_normalmaps and tes4ll_tes4qlod after which I defragmentate the game folder.
In this vid I'm preparing for "First Light". Using OBMM I start with the "animated windows" mod which seems to be a prerequisite for RAEVWD in the sense that this mod asks if AW is installed but even after I installed AW there are still many files RAEVWD wants to override and I'm not sure what to do here ... After AW - from 6:30 onward - I install RAEVWD, the Qarl patch and the SI part. From 14:00 onward I install a 4096X4096 Normal Map mod which I need for tes4ll later on. After this I close OBMM and make a manual install of the Optimised Distant Land mod. Then I use BOSS for the load order and Wrye Bash for the Bashed Patch.
