This works just perfectly, altough there's a minor inconvenience. I had a bunch of rings in my inventory that i sold, this being one of them. None of the rings no longer exist and i cannot get another ring since it was a quest script that gives this item, if you're still here, could you put a chest with a bunch of these rings in it so i can get a replacement?
Or if i can get it any other way i'd appreciate it.
@Voldemort13 I haven't tried the mod - but I'm pretty sure he's referring to the oblivion console (access with ~ (tilde key)) - then type "startquest fwGetRaceChangeRing " If you aren't familiar with the console just search it - the oblivion wiki has a great section on the console.
so where start the quest? cant find it. make a turtorial please! and Barron891 what you mean with "You have to type the command EXACTLY as the author has it" what command?
We should all be able to use the CS for those of us who got the d2d oblivion and cant open up the console (can't download OBSE with d2d version). Just place the ring wherever you want and pick it up!

I had the same problem with my computer because the tild key wouldnt work. Theres a mod called "Ring of Console" which is a terrific fix for this problem. Heres the link- http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13133

If you type it with lowercase it wouldn't add the ring for me.
Besides that great mod, worked like a charm and I was able to use it to select races from mods I downloaded. <3
