Love this mod, can be cobined with "Command Mount", so you can call Luna in case if you lost her. Just one snag; she sounds like a horse :P anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix it?
Hey, I just got Oblivion for the PC recently as I now have the means to do so, and while I was having a blast with console commands alone, I decided to try out modding. After looking over all the different ones, I wanted to start off with something both simple and cool. The idea of having a wolf for a mount is awesome so I got this one.
Here's the pros for this mod:
-I found Luna exactly where the youtube video said she would be -Mounting and dismounting animations are spot on -Characters sit firmly on her back, not clipping or hovering -She runs very fast, from what I can tell, comparible to top tier horses -She generally stands still after dismounting, and will bite at enemies when not mounted -She has very high health from what I can tell, at least as much as the anvil white horse which I used up until now -Walking and running animations are both in and look pretty decent -Good views from both 1st and 3rd person
my much shorter cons list
-There's no default way to summon her incase you lose track of her, but I haven't tested this, and I'm not sure if the Mount Call mods around will call Luna as well but I would guess they would -This isn't much of a con more as a question. Incase she does die, can you simply res her via console command and her appear right on the spot? I have yet to test this.
All in all, it works very well with other neat extras. A good first mod too. Kudos!
I do not comment on mods I have not personally downloaded and tried. What is the point of commenting on something you do not even know will function? I wish people would not do that.
This mod was easy to install for me (I must do it manually because I cannot figure out how to instal the installer mod:-<. You do need to follow directions and put meshes, textures, and animations where they belong. Just concentrate and make sure they go according to the file addresses. Like Oblivion/ Data/Textures/Creatures, etc.
This wolf is very beautiful, fast and doesn't leave you stranded. The animations are excellent and he is a good alternative to a horse, if that is more fun for you. It would be nice if he fought for you but then you wouldn't be left with much to do but watch and get no skill points.
An excellent mod that works perfectly without messing up anything else. Thank you for sharing it.
ok i know this is gonna sound wierd but your wolves almost remind me of these other wolves in this movie a cousin forced me to go see (i think it was called new moon?)

The textures folder only has an effects folder which only contains TerrainNoise.
No creatures folder or anything else.???
