I managed to avoid the CTD after buying the receipt from the merchant by temporarily disabling HUD Status Bars (I use the Enhanced version), buying the sailboat, saving, and then enabling them again.
There's an odd bug with this that I can't even describe. Once I cliked "Trap Door to Deck" I was surrounded by every creature in the game in a giant town looking thing, they weren't attacking me but were attacking each other to an extent. what the hell happened?
I like this. COBL version crashes when you buy the deed. OBSE version seems stable. I had one weird bug that made me revert to previous savegames. After sailing a while, I could no longer move. And, yes, I was out of controlling the boat mode. I am not sure if it had anything to do with the boat and my trying to fish off of it though. I was unable to reproduce the bug.
I love this mod! Any chance that you can make it so we can summon the boat? I want to take the boat into a Mod Worldspace and place it in the lake but I can't get the boat there obviously!
Didn't have any issues buying the boat or finding it, but when I auto sail somewhere I crash every time. I crash within minutes of manually sailing as well. Conflict reports find nothing and game was running fine before adding this. Shame, it really is a fun experience to be able to sail up and down the river, especially since a few of my player homes are on the river bank. Someone with experience should absolutely update this! I'm sure it would be very popular if so.
