The guar caravanner in Balmora attacked me on sight (so did his counterpart in (Anebet Ra), and when I defended myself, the guards came running and killed ME. When I reloaded and got the caravanner calmed down, he charged me 500-600 gold + for passage.
Many doors in the city led to nothing and were heavily locked Some were not properly joined to doorways (not an easy task, I know.) Basically the whole thing had kind of a thrown-together feel and didn't seem to make much sense, I'm afraid. This is a beta at best.
The City itself is on top of a hill/plateau, and is entered either by climbing up one peak or by Guar caravan from Balmora. 'Anebet-Ra' means 'Walled City of Ra' in Ancient Egyptian. This includes many buildings: - A Tailor - A Leather shop - A Tavern - Guest Housing - A Temple with some tombs, and the Holy Grail - A Deli - A Blacksmith - A Chateau (contains: entry halls, large Master Bedroom with Bathroom, a display/ trophy room, a Study, a closet, Living Room/Lounge, Great Hall, kitchen, and a hidden passage / hidden room leading to another world). - Residential housing. - With NPC characters named after Egyptian personalities.
