Does this NOT require a skeleton replacement mod? I'd be amazed.

It's pretty cool for a 3ed person fighting style, the only thing it lacks is 1st person and a weapon drawing animation for two handed that matches. I'd still recommend.

If anyone is still around to help, then help I would greatly appreciate. I installed the "everyone can use this" version of the mod using Vortex, and all I can get working is the "blade out, idle" animation. The Player Character and NPCs both use it, but other animations are nowhere to be seen. Does anyone know what's going on, and how I can fix this?

    Thanks in advance!

Just popping in two years late to tell you that generally, using Vortex, MO2, or other "contemporary" mod managers with Oblivion isn't advisable as they generally screw things up. Your best bet would be to manually download the file then drag & drop it into the Data folder--it's been a few (about 5) years since I used DMC Stylish, but if I recall correctly the author packaged the anims such that they're ready for an easy manual install.

kind of want to go back to vanilla, it was cool for a while but its just a bit too anime for me, i cant seem to get rid of it though...
now i know it was in the description to back up everything, but i don't think i did, and if that's not an option, does anybody know of a way to go back to vanilla? or if there are any other mods with more realistic animations to overwrite this mod with?

    thanks in advance.

EDIT: I just went into directory/data/meshes/character/male and deleted all the attack animations and boom, back to vanilla.

Right so I have been trying to get the block working on this mod for the past 6 hours. (Right sword pointed outwards block in dual wield) No matter what files I replace or don't replace I end up getting the LEFT hand sword blocking.

So if someone would just take their time to clearly explain what pack to download and install using what files to replace in what folder (BEFORE or AFTER installing with OBMM) it would be great instead of doing this back and forward bullshit where the information given is not clear enough and further questions need to be asked.

I downloaded the "Sword Dancer" pack and installed it, the block is still from the Left sword and not the Right. In the folder "Ex" there are no additional blocking files. So I decided to download the "Specialanims" pack, the block is still with the Left sword not the Right. However in the "Specialanims" pack there was additional Block files in the "Ex" folder. So I installed Specialanims pack and then replaced the block files in the _male folder. Still Left block not Right. Then I decided to take the Sword Dancer pack but add the additional block files from "Specialanim EX" folder. Doing this resulted in a error from OBMM saying that the file version are different.

So all that being said. I am totally lost and confused. Everyone is talking about additional block files in the Ex folder but there are no block files in the Ex folder there is just power attack files. So could someone explain this to me?

In the Ex file within the main file download, there are 3 sub folders, titled "OneHand Block", "OneHand Power Attack" and "TwoHand Power Attack". Go into the file "OneHand Block" and copy or extract the .kf files into the data/Meshes/Characters/_male/SpecialAnims folder. (If you installed the SpecialAnims version). Overwrite everything when your unzipping program asks about it.

Otherwise, put them into the Characters/_male folder. :)
