    Could someone that was able to make it work upload it in non-omod format? Just extracted from it, doesn't even need BAIN.

    EDIT: Okay, actually, it works in Wrye Bash, just that it has no install script or whatever, who knows what all these shaders do.

    Like the idea of this but you absolutely lost me when you insist on Oblivion Mod Manager. There are better and more powerful mod management tools.

      Keep in mind the mod was released fourteen years ago. OBMM was *the* mod manager back then. These days we have our pick of MO2, Vortex and Wrye Bash. But there are plenty of good old mods that simply haven't been converted to BAIN or standardized structures that make using OBMM sorta necessary if you don't want to convert them yourself.

    Really like the concept, but no matter what options I choose, I can't get the same effect as the third image on this mod page, "Dark effect with large viewable area". My nighteye always comes out looking like the first or second image instead. I installed with OBMM and followed all instructions to a T. Did I miss something?

      From the mod description:
      OBMM Install
      ============
      1. Copy OMOD file to (install folder)Oblivionobmmomod
      2. Start Oblivion Mod Manager.
      3. Double-click the name of the mod in the right-hand side of the OBMM screen.
      4. Choose from the options available to customise your nighteye effect!
      (icon should turn blue)

      Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM) must be used to install OMODs.

      In response to post #14511983. #14513478 is also a reply to the same post.

      Funny how there wasn't an .omod file in the download and I had to compile the files myself.
      And how double clicking it simply gives the options to activate/deactivate the .omod.
      It's like the installation script doesn't even exist. (Even though the file for it does..?) This is also sort of a bad thing, since even if I did know how to write an installation script I'd have no idea what the filenames were.

    Doesn't seem to be compatible with TESMM.

    I'm unable to download this with OBMM or NMM... Clicking "download manually" doesn't give me anything I can use. I can't extract from it, and it's only 6kb/s. And I can't activate it after downloading with NMM. I'd love to have this mod, so I'd appreciate help. Thanks.

    I've been using this for a few days now and I think it's great, but something awful just happened: I saved my game while the nighteye effect was on, and quit the game. When I next came back and reloaded that save, my nighteye effect went haywire. The bright areas turned black, and the colours were strange. I tried deactivating the mod, but the vanilla nighteye effect was also affected, becoming blotches of black, green and purple. Reloading from earlier saves or re-enabling this mod on a clean save didn't help. Has anyone else experienced this, or have any suggestions on how I might try to fix it?

    EDIT: Eh never mind, it seems to be ok now. Maybe my computer just needed a reboot or something, but I'll just leave my post here for reference in case someone else runs into the same problem.

    P.S. I have given this file my endorsement. <img class=">

    Same happened to me. I can't get rid of it either. Deactivated it. Vanilla nighteye works fine for a few minutes then gets the problem. Was not a problem prior to installing this mod. Now I have to figure out how to fix it. Using a 580gtx. Mentioning that since the 4xx and 5xx gen cards work slightly different (and had some issues with OBGE).

    Edit: Deactivating the shaders and reloading a save where the shader hadn't been activated at all seemd to work. Good thing I save extremely often. Only lost about 10 mins in-game.

    There seems to be a problem with using the green color effect while using mono. I enable them both but all the effect does is just stay at black and white. Is this happening to anyone else?

    EDIT: Nvm...after comparing all the other colors while playing with mono, I noticed a slight color difference between the three. I just expected the green tint to be a little bolder (like the kind of tint you would see looking through night vision goggles).

    @Maoman123:

    This mod doesn't work like that. It changes the shaders sent to your graphics card and uses a special feature of OBMM to do this.

    Unfortunately, a non-OMOD version is impractical.
