1. Description

*****************************************************************

Adds two types of Arena Raiment armor to the Arena Raiment cabinets in the Arena Bloodworks. Modifies the existing Arena Raiments with better enchants and a more descriptive name.
"Arena Heavy Raiment" is renamed "Arena Warrior's Raiment"
"Arena Light Raiment" is renamed "Arena Fighter's Raiment"
"Arena Marksman's Raiment" light armor and "Arena Marksman's Heavy Raiment" heavy armor added.
The heavy armor raiments both have Fortify Heavy Armor 100
The light armor raiments both have Fortify Light Armor 100
The Marksman's raiments both have Fortify Agility 2 points
The Warrior's and Fighter's raiments have Fortify Strength 2 points
These enchants are combined on the actual items; for example, the Arena Warrior's Raiment has an enchant with Fortify Strength +2 and Fortify Heavy Armor +100.

Adds two styles of robes to the Arena Raiment cabinets in the Arena Bloodworks.
"Arena Red Robe" is dark red with black gloves - uses the Mythic Dawn Robe model.
"Arena Black Robe" is solid black - uses the Black Hand Robe model.
Both styles cover the same as the regular Arena Raiments. They are enchanted with Fortify Intelligence +2 and Shield 10%, making them equal in protection to the light armor raiments - however, they don't confer an armor skill bonus, so players will still get more protection from the Arena Marksman's Raiment and Arena Fighter's Raiment simply by adding a light armor helm and shield, and will still get more spell effectiveness from wearing the robes without any additional armor.

3. Installation / Playing the Plugin

*****************************************************************

Extract this fle with any zip program (or Windows XP's built-in ZIP function)

To install the plugin, simply extract this file into the Data directory. Depending upon your installation, it's usually located here: C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data

From the Oblivion Launcher, select Data Files and check the box next to the esp file. For OBMM users, use the same procedure except do it from within OBMM - there's no OMOD version of this mod.

To uninstall simply remove the .esp and this readme.

Thanks to BethSoft for making this great game.
Thanks to Pepsi for making the readme for his Alt Life Detect addon which I edited to suit my purposes for this mod :-)
Also thanks to Pepsi for that Alt Life Detect addon itself. I didn't use any code from it in this addon, but it's a nice, simple mod :-)

*****************************************************************

This is a very simple mod. There's no added dialogue, no changed dialogue, all that was added is these new armors and robes - five of each in each cabinet - for a total of 20 new items in the game. This means that Owyn will only offer to give you the original melee-oriented raiments when handing out raiments. He also will not mention the other types of raiments in the cabinets.
The primary purpose of choosing the robes over the light or heavy armor is the issue of spell effectiveness. With either type of armor you suffer a loss of effectiveness in your spells, even with the bootsed skill that the modified raiments provide. These robes will eliminate that loss of effectiveness, especially if you go without a helm or with a cloth hood. You can use a shield of either type of armor as long as you either have a 2h weapon (staff included) or no weapon equipped; in either case, the armor rating for the shield doesn't count but any enchant on the shield does count.
The choice of whether to wear a Marksman's or Melee armor raiment is fairly small, as the main benefit of the change is that you get full armor rating out of these items. The boost also means that the armor doesn't encumber you (nor does any other armor of the same type), and with Light Armor, you get a bonus to your armor rating of 50% if you don't have any heavy armor on - making the light armor raiments protect as well as the heavy armor raiments.
Important: DO NOT switch raiments while in the Arena, as this can cause disqualification.

This mod may not be included in any compilation. If you want to use it in a compilation you will have to recreate it from scratch. It's not hard.
