A plugin for "The Elder Scrolls IV, Oblivion" Created with US-version 1.2.0416 ("Shivering Isles" and latest patch for required!)
This plugin adds a buyable Castle and a farm to the southern borderline of "The West Weald" (have a look at "Castle-Knightstone_Location.jpg" for the exact location) which can be bought by the player. Talk to Malipus to buy it (he can be found in the castle courtyard or inside the maintower of the castle).
Castle Knightstone is a major updated and relocated version of "Castle Domrose". Although it´s an update, "Castle Knightstone" and "Castle Domrose" can be used together without conflicts.
Features ******* -All needed "DistantLOD"-files included to show up the castle in far distance -Castle Knightstone is fully furnished and includes a living-area for your servants and guards (Main-Tower, South-West-Tower, Gatehouse), sleeping rooms (including a small bath) for the castle owner and his/her guests (Main-Keep and Main-Keep-Tower), a kitchen with storage area and an alchemy-lab (with two ingredient sorters!) inside the Main-Keep-Tower. -A smithing-area and a treasury can be found down in the basement of the Main-keep. -The working drawbridge can be raised / lowered by activating one of the two levellers close to the drawbridge. -A sideentry on the west side enables the player to leave the castle through a cave. There is also an secret escape way leading from the Main-Tower-Basement to the Winecellar of the Knightstone farm. The farm is also the place where you should stable your horse (no horse-riding within the castle´s courtyard - you may get stuck-!) -All your storage should be save inside the walls of Castle Knightstone (no respawning containers beside the one marked with a foreign ownership ("Castle Knightstone Servant Food Cupboard" is used to "feed" the servants) -Ragnor, the smith is offering his services from 08:00 am to 08:00 pm down in the basement -Lakrom, the alchemist is offering her services from 08:00 am to 08:00 pm inside the Main-Keep-Tower -There are two ingredient sorters inside the alchemy lab (Mainkeep-Tower); the left one sorts all ingredienst out of "vanilla Oblivion" and the right one will handle the ingredients out of "Shivering Isles". The sorter can be activated by touching one of the crystalballs standing on the left (Oblivion-sorter) or right (Shivering Isles sorter) side of the stone table; the ingredients will be sorted into the shelves above the stone table. There is also one addition ingredient shelf for "foreign" ingredients (ingredients out of any plugins); but there is no sorter for it, you will have to put the ingredients in it by doing it yourself. -static (master) alchemy apparati (can be found inside the alchemy lab (Mainkeep-Tower) of the castle; the activator apparati act just like the spellmaking and enchanting altars. Simply activate them. A set of master apparati will be added to your inventory and you will be informed that an alchemical experiment has begun as the alchemy window appears. Closing the alchemy window removes the apparati from the players inventory until he reactivates the static apparati.)
What else to know? -This plugin was created to be used in common with "Knights of the Nine" and is full compatible with that official plugin but it doesn´t require it; it can also be used without "Knights of the Nine". -If you cannot afford the castle at once you may use the "South-East-Tower" as a home as long as you have spared enough gold to buy the castle. -The dialogue "Castle Knightstone" of the NPC Milapius uses "silent" mp3-files (there is no voice-acting!)
