So, this mod is a bizarre mystery, the page was created on 26/5/2007, with an open beta apparently coming out on the 5th of July, as far as I can tell nothing happened until this (and seemingly all of this authors files) were last updated in January of 2008, when a mysterious 400kb fraps .avi of 4 coloured cylinders rotating around a black staff(?) was uploaded.
In the time between then and now this file has been downloaded over 107,000 times (making it one of the most downloaded quest mods ever), but with only 40 unique downloaders... which means that somehow the same few people have downloaded the same 400kb file over 2,500 times each over the course of 12 years. Weirder still is that the mod page says it's had 160,000 downloads which means there was once another file with about 50,000 downloads that disappeared.
So what is this? Some sorta weird server screw up? Some bizarre bot-farming scheme? The same person downloading 40gb-worth of the same file over a decade?
It is the result of the Nexus Triangle (think Bermuda Triangle). Items go in and disappear in strange circumstances with no explanation. The Grays are responsible.They explained that to me during one of my 'interactions' one night.
