    (...synchronized ice-eating! )

A beautiful mod and indeed a nicely choosen location for that cafe.
I like the "old fashioned" design of the chairs.

Aaah, Synchronised Ice Cream Eating! This sport is becoming increasing ly popular across the world!

Lovely chair, too precious to sit on . My sister had similar ones, but once the cloth is spent, it's impossible to replace nowadays, at least for ordinary mortals.

You're right. I remember the time when I was a tiny tot: My grandparents (god rest their souls) had such chairs (probably inherited from their parents) with a similar design, only the backrest was more detailed and carved. They also had several cupboards/cabinets, a big dining table and a big old desk in a similar design. And everything was made of solid wood - really hard (if not impossible) to find something like that nowadays. (except for an antique dealer)
In RL I'm a trained carpenter/furniture maker, so you can imagine that my heart was almost bleeding after my grandparents had died ( I was about 30 years old) and I had neither the chance nor the place to "rescue" those well known, very familiar and unique furnitures from the antique dealer.

At least the furniture survived somewhere. Try not to think of all the beautifully crafted pieces people threw away in the sixties, exchanging them with "modern" furniture (falling apart after five years). But then, whole towns were shaped following this principle during that time.

Therefore, yippieee, we like to walk in Cheydinhal.
