As for the quest its the Mehrunes' Razor DLC. Journey to the center of the earth for an ancient weapon that with one strike can banish your enemies to the planes of Oblivion.
Of course, I was remembering that DCL quest. I did all of them. And recently, I was just thinking of redo it again. Only the name of Varsa Baalim was lost in my little mind.
