About this image
FINALLY. All landscapes are complete! As is custom, I have generated a full texture map using tes4qlod in order to display the results of this month's work. Yes, all landscapes for this province were completed within one month, thanks to my past experience with landscaping (Yes! My time spent with the old map was not in vain! ^o^). I was initially expecting this part of the reconstruction process to take much longer, especially since the region editor tool broke near the very beginning of my efforts and forced me to input procedural gen data manually (grr). No, I'm not at all that concerned about meeting deadlines, but I think I'm entitled to a bit of celebration for pulling this one off. New personal best! *level-up sound* "Your Modding skill has increased".
=========
Unlike my previous map(s), which showed the entire Realm of Nordania, as many of you know, I decided to start over and focus on a single province of the Realm. In doing this, I was allowed to exact upon the game world a much higher level of detail, which should be evident here (pay no mind to the missing terrain textures in the Bay of Zephyros -- they're all underwater, thus invisible).
Note that Bloodvale is no longer included in this province. Or this Realm. I didn't feel like such a beautiful area fit in such a place as Nordania. The background story for it was satisfactory, but the location wasn't. Also, I felt like the region itself deserved better -- It didn't have much open space, so I couldn't do as much with it as I would have liked. As a consequence, Bloodvale is not only going to be located somewhere else on Asuron, but it's going to be a full-fledged, much larger forest region so that I can do its exotic description justice. It's what I want and it's probably what the fans of RoA would want.
Finally, see that ring of land in the middle of the Bay? That will be the site of Hesperos, the Capital City. The City's walls wrap around the ring, and the chunk of land sticking out on the west side is the Harbour district. It's obviously still under construction (and shall remain so for quite some time), but there it is!
My next assignment: Roads!

Seriously? That must've been a ton of work!
