The falling hero is wearing pieces from the Apophis Armory of the Silver Dragon mod.

Gashie: We definitely need to change some things for sure.

Moszibby: Thanks man. I actually had taken several shots of these two from a ton of different angles. I think I might still have one from the lower left. If so I'll send it to you.

There was one I had and really liked, the camera was behind the falling Hero, his feet right on the edge, and you could see the evil look in Mannfred's face as he knocked him off but, I decided I'd posted enough images of this scene.

I respect your request though and I understand it too.

Your understanding is much appreciated. It shall be as it is and let us both hope and wait for favourable changes to be made to this section of the site. <img class=">

Though I'm not crazy about the centered subjects, and would love to see how it'd look from about the lower left corner so I can see how close he's about to become falling debris, the way you some how made it look like the shot was taken with a short telephoto lens makes it.

    Alright, thanks.

As a side note, I was a little dissapointed to see your notice that you've started adding to all of your screenshots. I'd have really given you a 10 on the first postcard image you posted, it is such an original idea. I really like it. I respect your request though and I understand it too.

Hey no problem, I was guilty of inefficient compression myself on my first few uploads <img class=">

Yes, you can do it with Paint.Net.

Just open up your image with Paint.Net, on the tabs:

File->Save As...-> this brings up the prompt window. Check that 'Save as type' is on 'JPEG'.

Once you click on the 'Save' button it will bring up the 'Save Configuration' window with the quality settings slider. Setting slider to 75 provides a very similar compression as automated by MsPaint. Adjust as necessary.

The good thing about Paint.Net is the above mentioned granular control over your rate of compression. Very helpful because basically you'll find that with certain images, you can push the compression even further without any noticeable loss of quality when viewed in their default sizes. Remember, your eyes are your best friend. <img class=">

MsPaint is just THE simplest solution for the majority, as it comes prepackaged with Windows.

Thanks Gashie, I wasn't aware that my images took up so much space. I honestly have never thought about compressing them. I usually just open the images with windows picture viewer than save a copy as a .jpeg then upload that since the shareware version of FRAPS that I use only takes screenshots in .bmp format. I will try to remember what you've said and thanks again. Will Paint.net compress the images?

Hey LeeHarvey. I like this still, there's a sense of movement here, and I feel you've caught the pose(s) at an opportune moment. Quite a nice angle as well.

Alright, now I would like to kindly say something unrelated to this picture but to your image uploads in general. I saved ten random samples of your uploads; 5 times out of 10 their sizes were or above 1mb, with the two highest in the sample being approximately 1.21mb.

The other five ranged from an estimated 500kb to 800kb. For several reasons, I think it will be nice if you opted for better compression. Your images are 1440x900s, and 1680x1050s can easily, and usually fluctuate around the high 200kb size.

So, without the intention of assuming whether you are knowledgeable of the method or not, here it is: simply RE-OPEN the image you want with MsPaint and save it as a jpeg, or just save if you're working from a base that is already in jpeg and want to overwrite it.

With this particular upload of yours (1.21mb), using this method it'll be reduced to 270kb. Don't worry, unless someone explicitly wants to do a 300 or 400% zoom on images, the details aren't likely to be discerned from one to the other. You'll be a lot friendlier to people on dial-up and of course, as lhammonds puts it on his "How to Convert Images" tutorial, help to save the Nexus' bandwidth.

Well, I believe that's it. Sorry for the long post- I didn't want to just jump on here and 'teach' you something, so I 'studied' your uploading pattern to give you an example of yourself <img class="> I believe that faced with facts we'll lessen any misunderstandings no matter how unnecessary some of my detailed explanations may be. Besides, it's just in my nature to do the legwork. hahaha!

    Cheers

P.S. I simply must be having too much free time on my hands

Well, it wasn't so much a direct request but Menhrunes had mentioned it might look better colored so I figured 'What the heck, might as well,' so here it is.

Isn't this the same as the black and white you posted yesterday? I like this version alot better. If you don't mind my asking, who requested this?
