...or could it be that shadeMe also works in Nehrim? Now I am really curious about where these shadows come from! Esteban, could you enlighten us, please? ...if it is no secret!
Great PS skills, too. The shadow looks like it belongs there. The angle, blending and blur - everything fits perfectly. Some people dislike PS, but I guess it takes a good eye to see the "enhanced" version of the image even before you take a snapshot, and then to add the effect in the most natural possible way.
Thanks for your answer, Esteban. Wow, that's cool! I wouldn't have guessed it! Great job!
Aye, Macz took the words right out of my mouth. I couldn't have said it any better.
I think it's no shame to use PS or any other graphic programms/editing tools. Quite the contrary - one even could elevate it to an art form. Some artists paint complete pictures with the use of graphic tools (as you can see on DeviantArt, f.e. )
...it's the same as for screenshooting - to me it is definitely an art form.
What a fantastic and lovely shot! Love all the details one can see here - flowers, grain, butterflies, the scarecrow, the golden sunlight and (last but not least) the ruin/house hiding behind the trees...

The fence shadows must be added by a graphic editing tool.
It's a pity that such shadows aren't integrated in the game engine.

secondly - yep, it is a photoshop. In the original, there are no shadows.
