About this image

Aaaaargh, since I can't run Drahenne's Bruma Alive in screenshot-friendly resolution without CTDs, you'll get another chillout summer shot instead of severe winter.

Both screenies come as they are - no gimp or PS this time. I hope you enjoy :)

Golly gee whillickers, that looks pretty cool. Where is this location from anyways? Seems like a neat place to adventure around.

EDIT: Checked 'Textures Everywhere' and saw this was from Ubanga

      Thank you
Yeah, it may look like Far Cry or Crysis, or somewhere, but it's your good old Oblivion. Ubanga is a whole new ever-evolving continent - and a fantastic place to take screenshots

    great job so far!
    btw: with Denny,
cart passengers should secure their choppers,
whilst crossing the upcoming vegetation border
    on this tripping hazard...

CTDs with screenshots? have you tried the button printscreen and then paste in Paint? just in case...
Hey! this road is not intended for carts... lol...
    Nice capture!

No, no, it's CTD because of graphics overload and poor specs. Nothing to do with screenshooting, thanks God.

If it's any consolation, I experience constant CTDs on some of Unique Landscapes.
Skyrim on Ultra & HD textures doesn't kill my RAM. UL does. Srsly, wtf XD

ctd with UL Drahenne...are caused by engine and the many objects in render... current graphic card ..and not only best ones...can run 2k textures for landscape without problems... but game engine does not support more than 3gb on cpu... crashes in other words are not always related strictly to textures but also to polygons in render... grass is particularry killer for what i experienced on skyrim

Yeah, I know, but still OH GOD WHY. Especially that it seems that's not a frequent problem.

So hey, maybe something like this would help for Mac and me?

seems an interesting idea the mod you linked...reduced polycount of small stones and minor aspect steals nothing to visual impact afterall... still seems to be an old project...last update early 2010 :/ maybe there's something more recent to manage optimization...i'm not following community projects on oblivion so probably i'm not the most suitable user to point out precisely a solution for tecnical problems on this game... anyway yes... an optimization of polycount in theorical line for better cities, unique landscape and such (somehow mandatory mods for visual) cannot hurt for sure

Well, I've found this and I'm gonna give it a try in no time. Mac, if you run QTP3, it could be helpful.
