visually, this is my favorite reshade. unfortunately the smaa is making it impossible to use. i either have clouds rendering on top of everything or its too dark, and things look metallic.
i had to switch to a different preset...which sucks because i like this one better.
Thanks for this Budz, its wonderful! Great colours and contrast not over-cooked. Plus DOF!, woo!!!
DOF is very immersive for me...great to see it working in NMS. -I uploaded a couple of nice shots of the DOF in action -feel free to use if you like 'em.
A little feedback:
1. The 'stages' of blur flick to fast. -Any way to smooth out the transition between blur levels?
2. ENB had a feature that slowed the focal adjustment under the crosshair. -This helped the above issue, in that the blur would not flick on/off as you quickly move over something close to camera, it actually got ignored if the pointer wasn't there long enough.
3. The top level of blur is a little to much I think, it turns very kaleidoscope! (EDIT: I think its the Bokeh effect, too strong) -this accentuates the previous issues as its bright.
If there are any settings related to the above you'd be willing to share, I'd love to have a tinker myself as the flick DOF on/off is jarring...but it all looks so good!
Keep up the good work. This is by far the best Reshade I've tried
EDIT: I've had a tinker and resolved all the issues I mention above. Of course, all this is in the eye of the beholder...I definitely feel the bokeh is up too high. Its what was causing the 'flick' as I moved past tree's, etc. With all the colourful environments, the scale, shape and brightness of the bokeh would make the image 'flair'. I reduced the bokeh, changed the shape to circular and increased the blur. Anyway, just my 2ce and I look forward to seeing where you go with this!
I love your reshade but flicking is giving me a hell crazy..I decided to goofing around on the reshade settings but was able to narrow the plm...
First of all, i had to disable DOF.. 2nd is that i had to disable "#define USE_GAUSS" at "Shaders_by_loxa.cfg" in reshade > Presents > Default folder.. i know i am losing Gauss bloom feature but cant tell if i lose it by pressing Scroll Lock.... to stop flicking.. both DOF and GAUSS need to set 0.. cant have set 1 on either cuz it will cause flicking... I will try do more goofing around on Gauss and DOF settings while they are set to enabled if i can kill god d--m flicking...

Hey, just wanted to say thanks real quick because I had the same issue and this fixed it. I'm also on an FX-6300 and RX 480. Bummer that we have to lose a few cool settings but it's better than nothing.
@flameoffurius go to No Mans Sky\Binaries\ReShade\Presets\Default and open Shaders_by_MartyMcFly with notepad(or whatever else you use), then scroll down a bit till you find this(or use search) #define USE_DEPTHOFFIELD 1 //[DOF] //- replace 1 with 0
