I had thought that curvy line thing flying all over the place must have been a graphical glitch they could not get rid off! It stood out that much. So thank you very much for allowing me to get better immersed in the game, great mod
Technically it probably would improve performance, but these things are so tiny i doubt it would be noticeable improvement, but if you are combining it with lots of other small improvements it will add up i suppose. EDIT: correct me if im wrong anyone im just guessing, but like i said they are so tiny compared to everything else going on i cant imagine it would help much
I would be very suprised if my mod helped performance, I have only edited textures and their alpha channels (transparency) It definitely won't negatively affect your framerate
I think you could by making them smaller. A low-res retexture would free up memory. Also... The alpha is not really clean, you left a little pixel for each particle... Was that intentional?
Hi and thanks for this mod. UNFORTUNATELY I can only find ONE pak file in the current manual downloaded folder. Is there supposed to be two of which we choose one of them to install depending on our preference?
Hey, thanks for this. Can I ask for this verison (that donesn't remove the little round ones) to be left as an opitional downlad when you update the mod to remove everything, please? I quite like the little round ones
Me too. I pretend they're little insects. Not those arachno-crab-brain thingies that scuttle fast and bite your ass. lol, I hate those things and kill them before they even come for me. Just like the poison tentacle plants...... stuff of alien nightmares.

I'm hoping to get versions of this mod that keeps the particles but reduces the opacity. Something like versions with 25%, 50% and 75% transparencies.
I'd take a swing at it, but can't figure out how to "pak" files. The method via psarc.exe seems convoluted at best.
Thanks for your work on this.
