Yeah, I believe the main culprit for The Thorn's performance woes is the excess of burning barrels. The mod disables some of them; I actually get more steady FPS with the mod than not!
based on my tests, the performance is worser when using the mod vs not using it 50 fps with the mod 60 fps without the test are done using coc 0013396D and the framerate are captured without moving the mouse
do note my test are done in a capped 60 framerate,using ttw with additional mod. Framerate varies when you look around somewhere
