In 1.1 version, you would found a ini file config\BulletSnapSetting.ini , and you will see a statement in volume section : High value means quiter, 0.0 - Biggest volume, 10.0 - Almost inaudible ( default 4.0 )
I need to clear about this statement. 10.0 - Almost inaudible is relative to my game. The gunshots are always loud in my games so when I set it to 10.0 I nearly couldn't hear any snap but gunshots. If you still feel snap is loud you could set it greater than 10.0, try 20.0, 40.0 ,but less than 100.0
The volume setting sQuiteLevel in the BulletSnapSetting.ini does not seem to be doing anything. I have changed it to several different values including 100 with no effect to the in game snap sound. Not sure what is going on.
Hey! when i look in the console menu is see Bullet Snap:: File Array Not Empty -do im not sure if i did something wrongwith the installation but it seems to run okay?
I remember this youtube video where a guy shot at a target and recorded the sound at the target's position. The crack sound can be heard regardless of hit or miss.
Now the only thing I need left is for a mod to give me tinnitus when something explodes nearby, and now I'll have the near complete Insurgency experience.
This is so coincidental! I've just finished the initial version of the tinnitus mod today. However, I don't plan to rush into releasing it, so let me test it for a while!
Very good mod that actually add a sense of danger into the game. But I have a little bug sometimes when I use b42 optic espless. The bug is the snap sound plays when I change my scope zoom. I don't know yet how to fix that, didn't look any further into it yet.
Experiencing the same bug, from what i saw is when you save/quicksave and load/quickload while holding a scoped weapon using b42 optics the snap zoom sound bug occurs. Temporary fix is to re-launch the game but it will come back
Edit: Fixed it somehow, so i re-installed the b42 Optics and the snap zoom bug is gone.
