Just for note, it would probably be a good idea to edit RTC's Power Armor Object Effects to be more similar to STARS'. STARS changes the power armor Object Effect to:
Have a carry capacity buff to counteract the PA weight
Nerf Strength and Agility if the wearer doesn't have PA training (to allow nerfed power armor equipping prior to having training)
Reduce Sneak (for the armor) and Speech (for the helm)
I purposefully did not do this because A) I did not want to completely trample the artistic intent of RTC and B) lazy. Maybe in a future update tho if I feel like it.
I don't really think it does (A) at all - the "artistic" intent of the mod isn't really the stats its PA gives you - it's more about the visuals, the quests, and the revamped areas with the brotherhood occupying places. The problem is, if you are using STARS, then the lack of this change makes all of RTC's power armors objectively inferior to other STARS-modified power armors (aside from sneaking) due to not having the carry capacity buff, meaning you lose 80 carry capacity.
Honestly not a big issue to me, or I'd do it myself - I rarely tend to use mod-added armors in the first place. I just wanted to mention it as it was a compatibility issue that I noticed that the patch didn't resolve.
Not remotely a compatibility issue, but instead a consistency issue. But not one I take that seriously. Still I will keep it in mind for later, if I need to update this again later for a new version or something maybe I'll roll in those changes.
Will this still work with the 14th of May hotfix 2.16? also when downloading RTC, should i tick the Book Of Steel Patch since STAR use's Book Of Steel but deletes the esp's
If an RTC update breaks this then I will update it, you don't need to ask. It's unlikely to happen regardless. And no the Book of Steel patch is not required, anything that's required for this to work will be listed in the "requirements" section.
Since STAR use's PAVE of course and Rebuild The Capital has a PAVE patch. Should we also install the PAVE patch on RTC's page? I am a tad confused however since part of STAR'S guide is to delete the PAVE plugins and therefor the RTC PAVE patch says it is missing masters. What would you suggest? NVM im an idiot who can not read descriptions before downloading a mod :D Thank you vm for the mod btw!
Thanks for the patch! I wonder if it won't be easier to make a STAR fork with amors stats adjusted to "vanilla" TTW. I have so many mods from TTW or imported from FO3 that adapting all of them it is just too much...
No that would be a lot harder considering you'd have to re-adjust nearly every single vanilla armor + a whole slew of extra ones vs just a handful from whatever mods you're using. Not to mention it would defeat the entire purpose of STAR.
It makes sense, that is why I am waiting... I already have my game "properly" balanced and I am more interested in the pack for the added armors consistency and further bugfixing.

EDIT: Them changes are now rolled in
Good question, I took a quick look through it and I don't believe there should be any issue, but feel free to let me know if you see something amiss.
Louisky uploaded a new version of their RTC PAVE patch so I integrated those changes here, should be definitely good to go nowSTARS
