So I did a funny thing with this mod, my game couldn't look any better than this. Check this out:

Desert Natural Weathers NV/TTW is the GOAT weather mod. Thing is, just like with every other weather mod ever, the Strip becomes way too dark, and it makes zero sense since it's filled with neon lights everywhere, it HAS to be vanilla levels of bright, it's the only location in the entire game that SHOULD look bright.

So, I installed DNW, and then on xEdit, I removed "TheStripWorldNew" record from Worldspace, making it so DNW doesn't touch specifically The Strip, leaving it looking like vanilla. I checked, it works, but you see the ugly white horizon.

Night Sky Tweaks from Nehred is the final piece of the puzzle. Now I have a good weather mod, a non dark looking Strip with vanilla lighting and no ugly white horizon, just like in the screenshots. Epic!

It would be great if you could make a daytime version of this. Please.

I would love to see this version too. The horizon's brightness is way too high during daytime

I already tried and it doesn't look good, the color bending of the sky dome is too bad, it looks better at night because the dark makes the bending less noticable.

For me it looks almost identical to vanilla. The only other weather mod I have is Altitude. The horizon is still very bright, everything is bright.

Any reason that this would fail to work in the jip_ln_nvse.log? It only started to fail recently so I'm not sure if it's something I changed on my end or maybe something with a JIP update?

Works fine for me, though the mod was made a while ago and I notice some stuff I'm not fond of (in the No Plugin version), can you try this one? See if anything changes.

Hmm, the mod definitely seems to be working as intended both with the version you just posted and the original.
Still seeing (Run Script : gr_night_sky_tweaks.txt >> FAILED) in the log though? I'm guessing it's a false report in the log. Not sure though because this and the script from DNW to change back to the old ambient coloring have started to fail recently (Run Script : gr_DNAmbientChange.txt >> FAILED). I'm assuming they are failing for similar reasons since they both change the RGB values of weathers. Weird. Thank you for looking at it.

Weird indeed, the log shows SUCCESS in my case, try running one mod at a time if you haven't already. And since you're using DN Weathers I have to say again that Night Sky Tweaks was intended to remove the ugly bight horizons from Vanilla Weathers (and Vanilla-like weather mods like Yellow Goodbye), the nights in DN Weathers are fine on their own and Night Sky Tweaks won't add anything much so might as well ditch it.

Think I figured it out. It seems to be the latest version of NVR that is causing the script to show as failed. I just disabled NVR 4.0 and they are showing success now. I'll test it further and let the NVR team know. Thanks for the help and sorry if I wasted your time.

I'll try DNW without this but I think it's still worth using. Appreciate all the mods you've made. I hope you eventually make more one day.

One use a plugin slot (esm/esp), one doesn't.

How could I potentially change the horizon color from dark blue to black, to better match my skystars.dds?

You think more DLCs could be made optional? Since I think the glowing horizon looks neat in OWB
