I was really curious about what this mod could do based off the screenshots available, but unfortunately it seems I've run into the same problem as other people in the comments section. It's incredibly scintillating outside, especially around noon. I mean, I know it's noon, but still, it's positively blinding. Did I do something wrong? Because I really don't think that's what it's supposed to look like. I made sure to uninstall all other weather mods (Clarity, Nights are Darker) before trying this one out, and also checked for any incompatibility with FNVEdit.
I was finally able to fix the problem a few days ago. Turns out all I had to do was disable and re-enable HDR. I don't know why that worked or why it would even cause issues in the first place, but I suppose that's about what one can expect from this game. (This was apparently the cause of my issues with Dusty Distance Redone, as well). Anyway, the game looks fantastic with this mod. I've ditched my other weather mods in favour of it. Thanks a lot.
I'm not sure why but I can't seem to open this in xEdit or zEdit, it almost instantly crashes the program. GECK is the only thing that will open this esp for some reason.
Yea I had the same reaction lol, I just chalked it up to one of those modding quirks. Luckily it opens in the GECK, and that's all that matters, been building my own weather mod off of the bones of this one
Like the bloom. The weird glow on bright objects. It's a vanilla feature which is a legacy from Oblivion iteration of gamebryo and present in vanilla. Most weather mods I know of are removing this effect.
Hello. I tried this mod several times at different times, but I constantly have problems with it. During the game, very often, the brightness of the bloom lighting suddenly increases dramatically at times. Everything is so bright it makes my eyes melt. This happens randomly during the game and only during the day. Increased brightness does not go away by itself with the onset of night, only restarting the game helps. Is it something that conflicts with my mod or what? I tried some other weather mods - everything works fine, it's only with this mod that such a problem (this is google translation. screenshots are attached) https://postimg.cc/1nTwjsT0 https://postimg.cc/mhCy5FLt https://postimg.cc/6yTnN2wr
I don't use ENB or reshader,or whatever.I have a slightly modified build of Viva Vegas, I don't have any graphic mods installed. Edit.Ok.I tested mod а bit longer and it seems to me that problem with the excessive white brightness of bloom was due to the MoonlightNVSE mod. Because when I turned it off, for 2 hours of the game, this did not happen again. Maybe. New weather options are perceived by the mod as night time, and it additionally turned on the backlight from the moon, when it was actually day and sun.
I haven't been able to fix it. I ended up having to disable this mod. Even after turning off the moonlight, after playing a little longer with this mod, it seemed that sometimes the glow of the bloom is still relatively bright enough for me.
I've had this happen in several weather/lighting mod this year, including Desert Natural Weathers and Realistic lighting (obviously didn't use them at the same time). I have no idea what is causing all of this, but it goes away when I disable any weather mod.
thanks for updating the mod, I really love using it! however, the new night weathers for the Fort, Hoover Dam, etc don't have enough contrast and feel way too washed out, It's too red/brown and foggy, it's difficult to make out any details
yeah, they're not great, but the big issue is just that red isn't a good color for what is happening, it's handled in the same way the blue nights of the rest of the wasteland are, but because it's red it looks so much worse.
debating just using the standard night IMODs for Legion areas and hoover dam next update.
Could you please edit them? All they need is some contrast and maybe a slight reduction in the red tint. I really like the direction these changes are going, and simply reverting them back to the old ones would be a waste of potential
A few questions, does this alter interiors in general? Also, does it alter Hoover Dam like this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/71812) or the Lucky 38 like this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/69978)? Finally, does it also restore high noon like this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/67636)?
No interiors, it does not alter the Battle of Hoover Dam weathers nor the Lucky 38 climate; however it does restore high noon as that was one of the weathers they planned on updating.
