Do you think you could make a version without a scope? perhaps with a different iron sight or some variety of reflex sight? It's just that the scope makes aiming at short to mid range very clunky imo. thanks again!
I have the mod installed but never really use the gun because, with the scope, it's more of a distance weapon, but it doesn't have the accuracy to back that up.
Awersome mod, always wanted a service rifle like this even without the damage buff. A good replacer for the varmint rifle and even better for short-medium sneak attacks. Very lorefriendly too! Nice Job!
if you can find the dialogue in the GECK it's as simple as replacing the item id. I did this with Sunny Smiles and had her give me the Ratslayer as a reward.

I went ahead and fixed it so he gives me the weapon for my personal use, but oddly enough I don't know how to remove items from cells lol so I end up with 2 copies of it which for me is ok if you want I can get you the file you'll just have to remove the weapon on the ground or just let people have 2.

Just had a wild idea, since I don't get near Camp Guardian until late in my playthru I decided to have Ranger Jackson at Mojave Outpost give me the weapon as a reward so I can get some early game use out of it. Stellar mod btw, really sweet weapon.
Brilliant idea! I think i will edit it and reupload the file with your idea about having Ranger Jackson reward it to you. I am working on a unique Assault Carbine that has a 100 round drummag, increased condition, night-vision ACOG, suppressor, and a laser sight with a custom mesh and stats and maybe i will have that replace my idea with Halford, since you're usually a higher level once you reach that area. Also to remove from cells you can either go into the render window view by double clicking the cell that has the desired object in the cell view (which has the in game engine view of a cell, select the object by clicking it, and then hitting your delete (DEL) key. You can also do it by going into the cell view, by finding the object in the cell objects tab, finding the object, and right clicking on it and selecting delete. You can also select the object just by clicking it, and delete it from there by hitting your delete key.
awesome! this really rounds out the first 1/3 of my game, was needing a weapon of this type to balance my load-out before I start diving into dlc's and all those goodies. I had requested a mod to move The Highwayman near Lake Ivanpah so I could utilize the Classic Pack with J Sawyer's mod, and with Sunny giving me the Ratslayer and now having Jackson drop this gem getting to Vegas has never been sweeter! so glad to have stumbled upon this and stoked to be able to collaborate with someone to seal the deal on a great mod! Can't wait for your Assault Carbine, hopefully it will be ready when I get there
