Hm, now this is interesting. I've seen a few shortcomings like this across the vanilla game and mods. The Sonic Emitters have this problem when you recalibrate them, right? I also noticed a few mods where you use weapons as a crafting ingredient, and the durability goes to 85% regardless of the shape of the weapon used as the ingredient. I wonder if your fix would have any application there.
My fix is not global, I only modified the dialogue result script and another script that were responsible to only giving you a super heated saturnite fist always at 85% condition.

I have went with another name since the fixes are only for the Toaster and the Jukebox. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
The new weapon that is returned either by a recipe or NPC depends on the script written by the modder/developer so you cannot do anything about it unless you manually modify the script.
