    When loading the ESP that allows the transition to New Vegas Bounties III from the extra quests of New Vegas Bounties II, it works well. It does not work when transitioning from NVBIII to The Better Angels. In fact, you either remained stuck in front of the Northern Passage after you do the slideshow or the quest remained incomplete when you skip the slideshow and you're in the Mojave with a map marker that you can't return to.

    I don't see any updates presented so a workaround is to disable the esp for the patch and The Better Angels once you've started NVB3. Once you've completed NVB3, enable the ESP for TBA. Once you finish TBA (or near the finish line), enable the patch ESP so you won't be getting both NVB3 and TBA at the start of a new playthrough.

    I prefer a smooth transition from NVB3 to TBA without having to exit the game but this works for now.

    I'm not really sure what to download or if it's what you're offering, but I'm looking for something that fixes the chronological errors when having them installed at the same time. Is that what this mod does? I really don't know why SomeGuy made these mods the way he did. Unenabling and then reenabling mods once I get to a certain point in a quest instead of it all happening in-game absolutely breaks immersion and I've had to uninstall the mods. Being able to play with them all at once but not have one questline activate till you finish the previous like every other questline in the game is what you're trying to do, yes?

      Yup! The load patch makes it so you can have NVBIII and TBA installed before hand. It is just a test, so I'm not sure how well it works, but in theory it should fix that immersion issue of enabling the mod mid play through.

      Have you had any opportunities to finish testing the load patch and iron out some of the bugs people brought up?

      No, I haven't fixed the load patch yet. I need save games for right before the slideshow of NVBIII, otherwise I can't fix the problem on my end.

      Are you looking for save files to be sent to you? Or waiting until you're able to get a save file there on your own?
      At the moment the issue with this one mod is one of the main things stopping me from doing a serious playthrough of New Vegas so would be happy to help if needed

      Sorry if this is a stupid question, but presumably you want this with Someguy mods and your load order patch?
      Or just Someguy vanilla load order?

      Once done what's the best way to give you the save files?

      Nah that's a good question bro. Yeah, you'll need the load order patch installed along with Someguy's other mods, no other non-someguy mods please (you can use NVSE only plugins like NVAC and JIP tho). From what I've heard the transition to NVB3 is fine, it's the transition to The Better Angels that's borked. Preferably I'd like all your save games from this run, so I can easily track down where the problems are. You can send me the files over Google Drive or whatever works for you, just gimme a link right here and I'll get started. Many thanks man!

      Save 50 is when I am just about to speak to Marko outside Randall & Associates, Save 54 is just before leaving through the Northern Passage to Frosthill

      I didn't have New Vegas Killer, King of the Ring and the Supermutant Companion one since they weren't part of the NVB story but I did go through Russell

      I found the problem to be more difficult to solve than I anticipated, the script for the NVB3 ending slideshow is borked to hell, and adding additional code to it seems to exacerbate problems. I no longer have time to dedicate to this. Maybe in the future, I will be able to address these issues.

      @BrandNewlain I apologize for sending you on that goose chase with the save files. They were invaluable assets for testing. Thank you for your time

      @DarkSoulDuck No problem, it meant I had an excuse to replay some NVB so I'm not complaining
      It does kind of feel like NVB3 and Better Angels were kind of thrown together since someguy had got a little tired of modding New Vegas so understandable that it'd be a little more complicated to try and get working.
      Even just having it work up to the end of NVB3 is a massive improvement

    Hey!  Thank you for these fixes and bridging the mods together!

    I'm not sure if you're still around, but there was one small issue with Glanton's dialogue in NVBIII.  It's not much of an issue at all though.

    It's just that Glanton doesn't recognize who you are in NVBIII even if you completed Russell's quest in the Russell mod.  He is suppose to recognize you and talk about the sand wolves.  With the bridge, he doesn't acknowledge that he knows you with "It had to be you"...

    Like I said before, it's really not a big issue, but just wanted to point it out.  Thanks again!

    Well, since it's over a year and it seems that no one has given feedback to the "New Vegas Bounites III - The Better Angles - Load Patch (TEST RELEASE)" yet I think I should give my experience with it:
    First, the transition from Bounties II and The Inheritance to Bounties III works without problem.
    Second, the transition from Bounties III to The Better Angles doesn't work at all, here the bugs I came across:

    - viewing the Slideshow at the end: Player doesn't get back controll and quest doesn't compleat.
    - skipping the Slideshow: quest still wants me to speak to Thorn about returning to the Mojave.
    - if I disable the patch between killing Marko and traveling back to the Mojave it doesn't recognise that I used Sweet Revenge to kill Marko and doesn't give me the Perk.
    I only tried the route in which you confront Marko before returning to the Mojave.

    except this all tweaks/patches which I used so far work great.

      Thanks for the feedback, the NVBIII slideshow always had issues for me even without this mod. Were you using a lot of mods when you tried?

      I remember having that issue before I even made this mod. Something about having a bunch of mods with scripts causes the engine to crap itself. Have you tested it with the gnome skip the slideshow version on the NVBIII page? It's hardly ideal for normal play, but it is what is.

      No, haven't tried it with the gnome, and for me it only has problems with your load patch and only in the way I already mentioned, as I said, if I disable your patch i can get back to the mojave only that I won't get the perk for using Sweet Revenge, I don't really use that gun anyway so I just played as normal, only needed to remove and than reenable The Better Angles to get the courier to finally come and start the quest, first waited for one in-game-week before removing Better Angles in hopes the courier comes, since it is a test release I just wanted to help if you can improve it.
      The whole thing with the perk not being granted is probably cause the whole last quest about confronting Marko is handled through the same script that brings you back to the Mojave and you changed and since I disabled the patch between killing Marko and going back the script probably just resetted and if I would have used an older save nothing would have broke. I am already long in the Mojave.
      Mayby making two new files, an working 'New Vegas Bounites III - Load Patch' and an experimentle 'The Better Angles - Load Patch (TEST RELEASE)' is an good way to have people look into the problem and helping.

      Can confirm I had this exact same issue, tried many other fixes before this but as soon as I disabled this patch I was able to regain control after the ending slideshow. Also had an odd occurrence where the courier with a letter from Randall letting the courier know he's alive turned up after completing NVBIII.

    I've been thinking about doing another playthrough of New Vegas, if you need any more saves I can always run it with just someguy mods so there's another character on a different path to test with

    I hope you get this patch working, not having to disable NVB3 and TBA would be a godsend. It would also be a bit of a milestone, considering it's been 5 years and and your the first to get something like this semi functional.

    Use New Vegas Bounties III - Virgil Allows Followers AT YOUR OWN RISK..It corrupted every save following installation in such a manner that I could no longer enter the Boulder City Jail. I had to go back a day and a half's worth of saves to find the last save I made before installing the mod. Thank you MO2 for helping me figure this out. Loaded the save b4 the install and I can enter the jail. One save after the install, I can't even get in the door without the infinite loading screen.I test multiple saves after the mod was installed--couldn't get in. BEWARE.

    A smart fix you could make it would be removing the part when you got stunned by the gas if you are wearing a gasmask or a power armor. Of course that would change a piece of the main quest, but at least it would become more likely.

    DLC Disable's a great idea. Not to put down Honest Hearts, but could you please add a version that similarly conceals that quest DLC too, say for those for those who've already played it?

      Well you could do it yourself if you know your way around xEdit, that mod wasn't terribly difficult to create, but I don't have any internist in modding right now. maybe I'll get the bug back in the Fall, we'll see.

      yes and No.
      Something interfered nothing game breaking, other than immersion, and story lines were wonky when being told and some things overlapped wrongfully, meaning things were talking about before they actually happen.
      Same concept as having NVB1/2 and 3 in all at the same time, 3 usually interfered with 1/2 cause of story line, and minor other things.
      Continuity really over all.
