When you convert a misc item, do ALL of the same item become weapons? And can you revert them back? Just thinking about crafting mods that add more misc items as breakdown recipes.
Crom be praised in his mofo mountain! This is awesome! I can confirm that deaths by toy car, or w/e this wonderful mod can make it as a throwing weapon, counts towards the A Fistful of Hollars challange.

Why does everyone shoot heads of their enemies, what's wrong with you people? I don't think I have the motivation to do that. I usually just do whatever comes to my mind and when I finish a mod I usually don't polish/update it much. Of course, I take requests (well, sometimes) but now I'm in the middle of a big project and I don't have the time to do anything else right now because I want to finish it this summer.
Bah, if only the game would let us carry around our enemies heads as non-quest items. Imagine ripping a raider leader's head off and then throwing it at his buddies.

Yeah, but that would make people think they can only throw garbage. If clarity was the point, I'd call it "Throw miscallenous items that aren't used for anything in the game at people."
Tbh, this is a very interesting question in environmental friendlyness. From one point of view, yes it can mean that, but I wouldn't call a guitar garbage just because I can't play it, although it's still useless for me.
Pretty great idea, will endorse. What kind of damage can be expected from these new thrown items? Is it calculated the same as vanilla thrown weapons? And do any items do more damage than others? I'm sure a guitar would hurt more than a pencil
All of them does roughly the same amount of damage which increases with higher melee skill. Although, I'm pretty sure I've seen an experiment about the deadlyness of a pencil. If it has enough speed the coal tip of the pencil thickens and becomes able to fly through even a wooden plank without getting danaged. But in theory, even a fly can break a glass window if it can reach a high enough speed
Zombie go Boom did a test where they managed to stab pencils through their head analogs several times. I don't have any real knowledge of how realistic their skull analogs are (they're pretty detailed though), but they can at least stand up to really shitty weapons, so they're at least not super weak.
This mod is pure genius. Some holding animations desperately need fixing though (e.g. teddy bears cease to exist while a hammer blocks half the screen in my hand)

Can you make an upgrade that lets you shoot severed enemy heads at people?
